at 0:42 you can see Mario doing the 3D world run. This movie looks amazing, and the detail is incredible down to how Mario Runs. I'm calling it now best Illumination Film by far.

Honestly, I still think they should have gotten Charles Martinet because he's a legit voice actor with a ton of range and he could have done exactly what they were looking for. But I understand they wanted to get a "movie star" in order to be able to promote the movie to the masses.

@@AdorianDelmore charles martinet has some insane range, if they wanted something like this i'm sure he could've achieved something similar. i still like chris as mario though

@@CoOpComedy personally while charles has the range, i dont think he could pull off some of the humor that this movie, (like other cartoon movies) portrays. hes a great VA no doubt, but i feel a way more toned down version of mario, like chris', works better for a full length film

@@CoOpComedy still, it was a matter of genius cast choices for blockbuster hollywood standards, and in this case, the creator was heavily involved, even though Martinet has always been the iconic mario in italian accent

As a big Mario fan, I was on the verge of tears when I saw the trailers for this movie. Everything about these clips and trailers looks SO GOOD! Grew up playing a majority of the Super Mario games, and recently started playing Super Mario Odyssey, and am close to beating the game, and I got it 2 days ago. Can't wait to see it on opening night :-)!

I’m really glad they chose Chris now even more because his voice is separate from the Cartoonish world that he just drops into. He actually sticks out like a soar thumb because he’s new and he’s a human. Having Luigi, Toad, Mario, and peach with high voices would be too much. Cinnamon tastes great, a spoonful will choke you. However, we will be hearing some yelps, groans, and classic Mario references throughout the movie which I can’t wait for.
