About Reena Shrivastava:
Sitarist Reena Shrivastava took up the Sitar at the age of five under the tutelage of her father and Guru Pt. Rabi Chakraborty, himself an eminent sarod player of the Maihar Gharana. She started performing at an early age and was noticed and blessed by none other than Pandit Ravishankar. Reena lives in Kolkata tours the world with her music.

To The Respected Srikanto Acharya, আমি গানের গভীরে যেতে পারিনি, গান শুনতে ভালোবাসি। Musiana তে আপনার এই বিশেষ তাল বা রাগ নিয়ে অনুষ্ঠান, আবার চেনা গান গুলো তে তাদের প্রয়োগ identify করতে আমার মতো শ্রোতা কে সাহায্য করা,_সত‍্যিই অসাধারণ। এই অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে অনেক রকম গানের সাথে ও পরিচিতি ঘটছে। আপনি সুস্থ থাকুন ও আরো এইরকম অনুষ্ঠান আমাদের উপহার দিন,_এই অনুরোধ।

রীণা শ্রীবাস্তব- এই নামটি ও ওনার হাতের যাদু অনেকদিন আগেই ঘরে ঘরে ছড়িয়ে যাওয়ার কথা ছিল। মা সরস্বতীর বরকন‍্যা। দেখে খুবই আনন্দ হচ্ছে যে তিনি নিজেকে প্রকাশিত করেছেন।

Chandana sa badan ... Srikanta Da performed the initial in a mesmerising way. Just heart-throbbing and I believe only a few can perform this way. This also make me wonder how resourceful his inner potential is. I feel proud of him.

শ্রীকান্ত সত্যিই বড় খাঁটি কথা বলেছেন। কেবলমাত্র সঙ্গীত শিক্ষার পথে প্রথম পদক্ষেপ বলেই নয়, ঈমন আমাদের বুক নিঙড়ে সঙ্গীতের প্রতি ভালবাসা আর আনুগত্য আদায় করে নেয়। আমি গান শিখিনি--কেবলমাত্র ভালবাসি। তাই এটুকুই সঙ্কোচের সঙ্গে বলতে পারি। অরবিন্দ বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় ২-৯-২০২১

ইমন রাগ এ এসেই থেমে গেলেন কেন । এর পরেও ত অনেক কিছু আছে । অন্যান রাগ নিয়েও কিছু episode হলে ভালো লাগবে।

You do not need language to listen and appreciate Raga music Then Bengalies would not havr stood.for hours at night to listen to Ustads The bandish were. Never in Brngali.
