I like everything about the Repair Shop except the host. He doesn't seem very sensitive to the items they work on.

I have a music box made by Thorens. It is a family antique. It works but I am sure it has never been serviced. Do they need servicing? It seems to be completely enclosed. I can send a picture if you are interested. Carma

I seem to remember that the missing stopwork was not replaced before returning the box to the customer. Why was this essential part of the mechanism 'overlooked'?

I just received an old george baker 8 tune musicbox.but the governor is very noisy and the songs seem pingy at spots .is there an adjustment for the governor adjustment where the ruby is located?and can it be remedied?
