Many famous musicians/artists here in Indonesia wants to meet him...but he rejected them all. He doesn't want any fame spotlight...just living his simple life, as a forklift driver and a great humble musician.

Alip is so humble, no need any fancy things, he just play and share it, no ask anything as return, he is an autodidacted guitarist,...so inspiring us, we proud of him so much

He’s a fork lift driver, playing guitar is his gifted hobby. Respect him for his simple passion.

Nice reaction, in this song Alip play softly and gentle, another song he plays a little bit crazy (i.e. Black or White by Michael Jackson, On The Floor by J Lo) even though I consider it wasn't for show off, he did that on purpose. What makes him different with other great guitarist/musician is he plays covers with his own version and somehow put his soul onto it. He also have originals too, and if you listen to another song there are blues and/or Flamenco style

he's master harmonic..easy listening.. i love all Godfather movie.. ..my fave theme song..my fave novel author Mario Puzzo..my fave movie..my fave actors in Godfather I,II,III (Al Pacino,Robert DeNiro,Andy Garcia).. i've listened for many versions n covers..from orchestra,violin,accoustic guitar,an electric guitar (like Slash n GNR)..i love them all..n i think this Alip's cover looks different..sounds soft n beautiful..make me silent..speechless..absorbed..sad n touched..as if hearing Andy Williams singing on his guitar vocal line.."speak softly love n hold me warm against your heart.."

Great reaction Tony! I am an Aliper from Malaysia. I would pay to see a concert by Alip but he won't do any concert! He has declined invitations by the National television station of his country. Apart from doing cover of great songs, he is an accomplished composer too! Do react to his original pieces. I do recommend Infected, Sepur Tua (old train) and Gedabrul.

Alipbata cover "My Heart Will Go On" (by Celine Dion), he strumming the guitar one handed and the other hand playing recorder/flute, or "Hey Tayo" cover, he strumming the guitar while solving the rubics cube... I love the way his guitar could mimic the sound of the mandolin.

It is very good reaction from you Tony. In this video Alip using tuning : DAGDGD (From bottom to top). Alip is very famous here in Indonesia but he does not like popularity at all. We do not know where he lives, many media tried to interview him but he always avoiding. We, the Alipers is still trying to persuade him to become more open and make him realize that he deserves popularity and money as well. Alip is not only a great guitarist but he also a great arranger and a great composer Please check and hopefully react to some of Alip's original composition such as : 1. Pagebluk. This song was incorporated by Andrea Pistilli, an Italian guitar Maestro in his concert by end of last year. 2. CT43. A short but very beautiful classic blues song with a phenomenal guitar run by the end of the song. 3. Infected. This video is made by combining 3 layers of videos which produced a very beautiful song. 4. Sepur Tua or Old Train in English. A beautiful and happy bluesy jazz song with incredible fast and clean where Alip's finger "dancing" like a spider in his guitar board. Believe me you will love the above songs. Alip Ba Ta what can you say really? The use of harmonics is amazing. Maybe it's just me, because I'm not a musician, but I feel like he's able to incorporate a good amount of percussion into his playing that adds another dynamic to a solo guitar performance. He's insane. WSU though!? Close game against Oregon I guess ill give you that.
