Dunya mein Mousiqar badi mushkil se bante hain, bahut takleef utha kar badi mehnaton se. Hamare paas bar e sagheer mein Jo bhi mukammal mausiqar Bane Hain unme se Rasheed Atre Saheb ek hain. Logon ko classical Mousiqi samajne ki aadath daalna chahiye.

So comforting to note high quality work has been initiated in this particular area with decent mannerism, eloquent narration based on in depth research of pertinent facts and nuances regarding towering legends of our film industry. Allow me to add that Munir Hussain's most popular song (in my view) was Punjab film Mukhrra's "Dillaa tehr ja yaar da nazara layn de" closely followed by "Qarrar lootne wale" which by the way, was liked by Lata Mageshkar as well!

You have sweatily prepared a research which gives statistics of Muneer Hussain (34 songs), Saleem Raza (27 songs) and Naseem Begum (100 songs) which is an excelling point. This research missed film Qaidi's world famous poetry of Faiz, "Mujh se pehli si muhabbat", had this been included, the edition would have become more perfect,,, and my favourite one, Nisar mein teri galiyon pe ae wattan ke jehan " ( optional ) film Shaheed., though it was difficult to add while you had picked the most famous one, " Uss bewafa ka shehr hey" The research is an excellent document for knowledge seekers of music world of Pakistan. Excellence is your typical tradition, I believe, Profound appreciation on such a commendable work. But EMI has made a mistake, "Hazaron he shikway hein kiya kiya bataoon" is 100% that of Master Inayat Hussain's composition, can be recognised by the violin pieces, typical of Master sahib's style who spent 28 nights in adding how to express respect to the Prince in the song, "Muhabbat ka naghma hy mein nama ber hun". On this salutation in the beginning of this song, Master sahib cried to Allah SWT in prostration as a thanks-giving for this idea when his fingers touched higher 'sur' on 28th night. (Reference: His interview with Anwar Maqsood on PTV, and his only student Zahoor Hussain's statement). I close down with Kind Regards and veneration for you categorically !

You should correct your information on Munir Hussain, he was nephew of Rashid Attree and Son in law of Master Ghulam Haider, he was first Play back singer who was classical trained and then Mehdi Hassan, Mehdi Hassan was course singer of Munir Hussain, newely established singer like Saleem Raza, Masood Rana, Ahmed Rushdi, A Nayyer and other were non trained singer, Munir Hussain was favourite singer of Rashid Attree, Khawaja Khurshid Anwar and A. Hameed. Considering his excellent services on film music, the Government of Pakistan in 2019 awarded Sitara e Imtiaz to Munir Hussain.

His films like Farangi, Bahisht, and Zarqa were not mentioned, was it by chance????

Some informations on Attree shb are incorrect, film Saath Lakh was released in 1956-57 which was also first debut film of my father, super hit his song Qarar Lotny waly to payar ko tarsy was mega hit.
