I have the same tank (my first ever fish tank) and I jam packed it with rock and every type of coral.. it's a cluttered mess. When I discovered this channel I really want to turn my tank into a minimalistic lightly stocked reef but I can't bring myself to giving away all the coral I've grown years ago.

I know it's hard but sometimes we have to let go of things 🙃 I am the worst at that and hence why I try to limit buying lots of corals haha

Do you have any issues with the natural light from all the windows in your place? I’m looking at moving to an apartment with tons of windows but I’m worried it will cause issues when I setup my tank. I love your channel such chill vibes and your tanks and place always look amazing so clean and plants everywhere I love it. Feels calming just to watch.

I haven't had much issue with the natural light 🙂 It's all indirect sun light luckily. Maybe avoid placing it in the location where you get direct sun light (next to windows etc.)

Royal gramma - yes. Yellow goby - no. I move the YCG to my quarantine tank because he's nipping on my corals 😔

@@BlueReefTank Can I ask why you monitor it? For ph purposes? I assume it is attached to some controller that operates a reactor? Still new to the saltwater side of things and am trying to learn :) Love your videos!

Correct, and it's also just something cool to have 😄 It's not attached to anything and I don't think it can. I just use it to "know" the CO2 level in my room.Normal room that's got a couple of windows should maintain the oxygen level pretty high most of the time and I wouldn't worry too much about pH unless my tank is in the basement with little to no circulation 😅 Glad you enjoyed the video, Josh!
