Really really appreciate you going through all those technical details. I really want to make a kpop track similar to new jeans style. But first, I'll have to master creating all these synth sounds :(

Cookie is supposed to be about their album and their music in general (hence why the cookie rolls in at the beginning and rolls out as their album CD). The intent is that they lure you in to try their music and you get hooked on it. However, if we take the context of the song in English and add this seductive tone, it has connotations that we definitely don't want to associate with minors. I almost wonder if they did it intentionally to create drama and buzz around the group, but I really don't know. I like the song but sometimes it feels icky even if I know the original intent. So I guess I just have to deal with feeling conflicted about it.

Lol the video is a bit much for me as an audience (I'm too old). However, Adora and the girls sound heavenly. Adora has produced some of my favorite kpop songs. I love this direction for her.

Foreigners and esp Americans need to get their heads out of the gutter for Cookie lyrics. I am American too but I didn't think any sexual innuendo for these girls. They first came out with Attention and Hype Boy and they were the epitome of "Pure" and "Innocence". Cookie was so sassy for them to say they will capture our hearts. If it was sung by Ariana or Doja, I would think rated R but this was sung by New Jeans

The bass sounds like an 8-bit bass paired with 808s, it makes the notes more clear than a usual individual 808.

My favorite song of theirs is Cookie, it's the one I heard of theirs first. Some people just look for reasons to hate songs and groups. Sad.

If their age make you uncomfy, maybe you ,having weird controversial thoughts abt them, are the problem. Please stop sexualizing their every move, action, or words. Like ew. Why does your mind even go there? Not @ y’all acting like BoA, Nikki, and so many others (in every Kpop generation and any music industry in the world) debut after 16, 18, or 21. Where were you when Lil bow wow, Justin Bieber, and so many others needed your “concerns”. And don’t get me started on child actors. They are entertainers too. And no one hear you whining under their posts or videos. “I don’t support the girls because”, “the lyrics make me uncomfy because”, “i like them, but”, etc. Yikes! Go also try “saving” all kids in the entertainment industry who are under 18.

Which country you from man? I admire you for not taking the double meaning in the lyrics being pointed by other people in their song Cookie. Its so great to see people like you who care less about such thing that is basically pointless considering we all have different cultures in each our country. Cookie is just a slang used in Korea for CD and other people mostly from western countries tend to say odd things about the double meaning not considering the girls are from Korea not from their country. And one more thing i love how you do detail per details about the songs, if you havent said about the reverbs i would not notice it at all 😅 keep up the great work man, new sub here
