If you wanna react to more "nursery like" or "child likes" sounds/music, you should definitely react to Melanie Martinez. I recommend her Cry Baby album. Oh and fun fact: Sub Urban, his song is Cradles (which u should def react to as well), produced Bella's song and also Melanie Martinez's that's why some would say their songs sound alike.

the reason why it seems to me that at first listen it could remind me of a Christmas carol is the progression used to end the chorus, i.e. ii-v-i. It is used, sometimes in another order, in some carols. If you add to that the bells that ring at times in the song, and the way the melody is structured, it has a slight air of a Christmas melody and/or a children's melody. This is actually very useful for the structure of the song, since it generates a dissonance between the melody and the lyrics, which is very interesting and admirable.
