He is very masterful in using the Literary Technic of "WORDPLAY" or "Play on Words" in his compositions like, Tilaluha, Ikako & What?. Unfortunately, the "WordPlay" is in all in his Tagalog compositions & iy will be hard to appreciate his Genius when the song is Translated in English. The Tagalog word "TILA" has 2 meanings: (1.) It seems like & (2.) Stop. "LIHA" means Tears. "TILALUHA" is a not a true Tagalog word per se. PABLO used "Plain On Word" to come up with this coined word which can mean STOP TEARS or It seems like Tears. "TILA"/Stop is the common Tagalog word used to express the hope that the "rain would Stop". PABLO uses a lot of analogy between the pouring RAIN & the Tears of a Pained Lover whose Love Relationship had been ended. He wishes that the pouring Rain will drown all the remaining feelings he still has for the woman he still deeply loves but has left him. Thus he is asking for the Rain NOT to Stop.
