The premise of the MV is that Twice can weather any storm as long as they’re together. They were destined to be together signified by the red string of fate (red ribbons throughout the video). It’s an Asian belief that two souls or souls are destined to be together regardless of time, place or circumstance. The MV is just a metaphor for this. They’ve become elite artist as well as family. You haven’t truly experienced every side of Twice and their depth of talent until you listen to their b sides which are top level and include R&B along with other genres. They are the most successful K-pop GG for a reason and as they stated in the MV, they were lightning from the start.

2nd chorus you asked about the ad lib/harmony, the girl who’s on screen during the words “drop of doubt” is singing the lower part, that’s Jihyo. She’s the leader and main vocalist of the group, and she had a solo album last year! You should react to Killin Me Good by her :) she’s the queen of my heart lol. Thank you Joey for another great reaction to The Queens Of K-POP. This is a very meaningful song and beautiful MV. This is all about the girls and their love and bond they have with each other. TWICE is a family with the staff included. You made it through an entire TWICE MV without using the iconic Blocker Ray 3000’s. Another of Twice's Music Videos that was shot in a similar manner is called 'The Best Thing I Ever Did'. It was obviously shot in cold weather, out-of-doors during the daytime. There was snow on the ground, the group got to pet some reindeer. It's not necessarily a Christmas or Holiday song but it could be taken that way, I guess. It's another feel-good song and video like this one, where they sing about how glad they are to have each other as friends and co-workers and even sisters. From my perspective, 'I Got You' seems like a Part Two to 'The Best Thing I Ever Did'. Such awesome similarities. :)

And yes twice has lots of r&b typa songs or chill songs: rewind, when we were kids, ice cream(melting), be as one, someone like me, three times a day, promise, one in a million, turtle, say yes, handle it, jaljayo good night, cry for me, doughnut ... these are one of their fans fav songs. Also twice are famous for trying out new genres in every albums. They are also very good with genres like latin pop, pop rock, city pop & disco. I can give you recommendations of their songs for certain genre if you wish.tysm
