Dimash just received an award in Serbia where he met Placido Domingo. The latter expressed his interest to have a duet with Dimash.

I found Demash in 2016; he has only grown since then! My husband and I love him so much that we dipped into our life savings to go see him in NY. It took days to feel grounded again. I can’t explain why or how, but going to this event brought a very deep intrinsic change in me. There are typically 20-40 countries and cultures that present themselves as “Dears”. His otherworldly persona speaks a language of love,hope, and inclusion that all people understand, and desire. If you ever have the opportunity to go to one of concerts, do whatever you have to do to go. It’s nice to be a part of something that is so much bigger than yourself ❣️

Thank you for pointing out Ilya the percussionist. Once I was at a private garden party and Ilya gave us a private concert. He is an amazing musician and a really nice guy.

Imagine, now the dears society is completely devastated like a hen's yard :D we Hungarian dears especially because Dimash will give a solo concert in Budapest in May,, But what is even bigger news is that he travelled here to Budapest a week ago, at the invitation of Placido Domingo, who is the main patron of a classical music competition, TV recordings will begin tomorrow, where Dimash will be a member of the jury, and a duet with Domingo is on the horizon in the final, Can you imagine this? Great reaction and thank you for taking the opportunity to share him with as many people as you can at that event! I LOVE Iliya and really all of Dimash's band. There's a reason that Dimash makes sure to acknowledge his team at every performance because he knows how much they work with him to help him perform at his best. He has had several people work with him who have then branched off, or artists who work with him regularly but certainly are known for their own work as well, like Olzhas and Jordan. He is continuing the "Stranger" tour with a concert in Hong Kong this month and another coming in Budapest in May! I'm hoping we'll get him back in the States sooner rather than later. Every performance seems to feature the percussionist more than the other players, which i find very amusing. I have a friend who looks like him so it is doubly memorable. The triangle somehow makes it into almost every video. Maybe one of the cameramen has a crush? Yes, his band members are all friends and the percussionist is fantastic and when Dimash jams with his band members at the end of concerts, they are great together because Dimash plays drums, along with 6 other instruments, so they go to town when playing together! Can i just say that it was Dimash who named his fans "Dears" as he says we are very dear to him and like family 😊🙏💞

For future reference: Dimash 2023-Vocal range: Growls (vocal fry): G0-G1 Vocal Fry: G#1 - D2 Chest voice: E2-C#5 Mixed voice: D5-C6 Head voice: C#6 - F#6 Whistle: E7-D8 Natural range: E2 - F#6 4.2 octaves *Full range: G0 - D8 7.7 octaves To put it in context: He sings lower than bass in Opera. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note. Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano. Who is Dimash? Only the singer of the millennia. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. His range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. The unique thing about Dimash is his ability to have multiple genres in one song moving smoothly from one to the next so the song flows like any other except we might have heard Opera, Rock, Pop, Jazz & Rap. It’s crazy wild & us Dears love it. I’d love to see this guy react to Sinful Passion with English subtitles. I think he would enjoy the ending. But, a very romantic song.

All Dimash musicians and backing vocal singers have a very stablished careers. Rassul is an awarded musical actor, Zarina is a vocal leader of a Jazz band. Dimash works only with the best and they stay with him for years. He takes a half of an hour in the end of his concerts to guarantee each one of them have their solo on the stage. And most of the time he gives a special attention to the percussionist... The coolest thing I saw Dimash do was when he surprised Rassul, making him singing one whole solo song (a tradicional song of the etnia Rassul belongs) on the stage while he went to the band to play the piano for him (nobody knew he will do that, only Dimash could play that song for Rassul). I never watched a singer do that: not just let the backing vocal sing alone on the stage (that is quite common when the singer need to get out of stage to change outfits, for example), but play the piano to accompany the backing vocal to make sure he would have the attention and appreciation he deserves.
