Lucy is most likely the best female vocalist of this generation. Lucy is world class without a doubt! She is probably the 'music treasure' of this decade and maybe even this century. Lucy brings back the kind of singing that most people love. Her talent, ability, dedication and commitment is beyond reproach. Lucy has already accomplished so much and is about to turn 20 years old next week. She has done all this without the help of mainstream media! If Lucy continues her career in theater and live performances, God willing, Lucy Thomas will go down in history as a legend, similar to all the great Divas of the past!

You have not yet done any of her early work. I recommend her cover of Run at nine years old. Her vocals are not up to her standards of today. But the warm chocolate sound and signing just for you feel is present even then. Her simple studio backgrounds of today highlights this but she has always had it. This girl was born to perform. Todays song highlights the power she can project and still keep her sweet tone and innocence. Good show as always. Thank you.🤠

This is my favourite song performed by Lucy. This song has a LOT of meaning to me. Thank you for your continued praise and support for Lucy. On the 'Robbie Dunbar - Lucy Thomas Official Fan Club' KZfaq channel, Robbie has compiled a collection of 'Rare Recordings'. These videos are not on the Lucy Thomas Music channel (that I could find) but are well worth checking out even if you do not react to any of them. The 'Rare Recordings' show Lucy at a VERY young age and you can see her evolution into the incredible vocalist she is today. Thank you once again for reacting to Lucy - you are great!

As always , Lucy was awesome. She did not overdo the melodie. Keeping the song as romantic as possible , with her low and warm voice. Then doing the hight note as it as to be: without screaming it, and keeping it for ever. A small anecdote about this song. As you said the song was written by Eric Carmen in the seventies. But he used a Melodie from a classical Russian composer called :Rachmaninoff. He was sued for infringement of copyrights and he had to pay compensations. Some other commenters asked you to look at the firsts videos she did. ( When she was 13 or 14). They are incredibly good. One of my preferred is : She used to be mine. She was 14 but she sang it as she was in her thirties and had a life experience, and the video was done particularly interesting, and professional. A must see.❤

Zooty - Another Hot Chocolate reaction 😉! Yes Lucy does that old fashioned thing of singing to her audience. No need for me to repeat how good she is as she probably gets too much of that as it is. On a slightly critical note I would like to see her branch out a little more to other styles of music. The old standards are great but I sometimes wonder who her audience is supposed to be, old farts like us !? Anyway if you like emotional singers and songs can I recommend Eltasya Natasha from Indonesia. Her most popular songs on KZfaq ( in English ) are covers of 'Bad Liar' and 'Easy on Me' but neither of those are live recordings. I prefer her cover of 'The One That Got Away' which is a live recording. It's just her and a piano but it is spectacular. She is a different style of singer to Lucy but you might enjoy her too.
