I understand you meant to say Sinful Passion has impressive vocals technique wise but maybe your comment implies that Dimash's singing is vocal gymnastics when its really much more then that, it envolves emotion, presentation, etc. Dimash vocals skills serves the music and art rather then the song just being a plataform for him to show off. Hope im not overthinking :)

Great reaction. Sinful passion please!!. Original composition was by Studio A band. This performance was in honor of band member who passed away. He honors him with vocal magic in the middle of the song.. The pianist is awesome and looks to heaven at the end, so does Dimash, when he points to the sky at the end. Use the glitch free version, turn on the captions as well as lyrics are awesome. Time the riff at the end, you will be blown away!.

Dimash is a phenomenon, he started singing lessons and 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just completed his masters in Composition with top score of 100 points. His range is over 6 octaves (7 now)but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. In this performance he was 22 and in a competition for professional singers in China he was invited as a wildcard and after this one song was catapulted to stardom and is now a pop superstar in China. He is now also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He is on a solo world tour tight now and in his concerts he sings for 3 to 4 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum album in China though. It has been recognised that his high notes are not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does its spectacular like everything else about him. He has billions of fans worldwide and I am definitely one of them, and he calls us his Dears, as we are all as dear to him as his family, and he means it, he knows who helped to make him famous. He is a softly spoken, polite, elegant and very humble respectful young man. He deserves every bit of the success he is having, he has worked very hard for the past 20 plus years and now his dreams as a young 5 year old are coming true. There is an interview he did for BBC World Service in 2018 where the interviewer showed a drawing he did when he was 5 of him singing on a big stage with microphones, speakers and his beloved music cassettes showing his desire to be where he is now. His recent sellout world tour has been postponed due to the covid-19 epidemic but will restart when its safe to do so. He has concerts lined up in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk there will be others. Thank you for your reaction, please do more, he has more than enough videos on KZfaq. Bravo Dimash 💖

Dimash has degrees in both classical and contemporary music, currently pursuing his master degree in music compositions. He has studied, trains, analyse, practice and performed vocals and music for twenty years. He turned 26 last month on 24th. He's also a composer and multi instrumentalist. You could say Dimash is music/singing royalty in Kazakhstan as both his parents were popular established singers there, mother a soprano singer, dad a pop singer, composer, lyricist, imstrumentalist and producer who currently actsc as Dimash's producer and manager too.

One word: contrast. In style, dynamics, and range from phrase to phrase. Dimash is simply amazing, astonishing, and brilliant. The key is his breath control. Plus his knowledge of classical, pop, plus his own ethnic music. He has a gift in which he has put in time to train and practice.

The more knowledge and practice of singing a reactionary has, the more he is stunned by what Dimash is doing. Only complete Amateurs listen and take For granted Dimash's performances, as everything sounds easy and beautiful. But the work behind this ease is huge!!!!

Priviet Olga, Absolutely, he's been singing and training ever since he was 5 years old. But don't forget about the talent you need. Dimash has been given that in spades due to both his parents being successful musicians themselves. BTW Being a "reactionary" is a political classification for someone opposing a political shift. I'm not quite sure what the correct English term for people discussing performances is though; "analyst" or "critic" comes to mind, although the latter is often seen as negative which it in the truest sense not needs to be. (I'm no native English speaker either) The use of the word made me smile though.

@@kayhawkins5925 How strange, that anyone should fail to see the emotion when Dimash sings. He doesn't only SING the song, he LIVES it, and fully performs it. He is a whole opera. No emotion? Perhaps such commenters should watch his video of "Adagio." Yes, what a deadpan, flat rendition of it!

Keep in mind this was over 3 years ago. This was the first song I saw Dimash sing, as well. He still practices and studies every day when possible therefor, he has continuously improved over the years. Every song, he shows something new! He changes the way he sings the same songs! You will never be bored! EVER!!!

Tyra, as a singer, don't let Dimash's skill intimidate you like it has done to many singer/reactors. He's been perfecting his craft since he was 5. That's 20 years of continuous improvement. And in so doing, he's showing possibilities in using the human voice to create not only different sounds, but to give you the emotions he wants to give you. Musicians and singers all over the world will be studying his techniques, and the best ones will be able to reach heights they would never have dreamed of, thanks to innovations Dimash came up with. That's how significant he will be considered to the music industry.

Welcome to the World of Dimash! it's a beautiful journey filled with goosebumps, chills and shivers down the spine...he has this effect! His vocal cords are made of Diamonds, soo brilliant in colours, has depth, richness and emotions. He is on a whole other level/dimension! The clarity in his voice is like the sound of hitting crystal against crystal times 10000. He vocal techniques and abilities are not from this world. He is his own competition, background singers and angelic choir. Truly the New National Treasure and a True Gift from above! Music schools need to study him, he is a legend. Thank You for a perfect/precise and genuine analysis of Dimash ! Love your voice too! it's Exceptionally Beautiful! Press on! He will inspire you with his techniques, endurance and abilities. Next Songs: "Sinful Passion", "Love is like a Dream", "Hello" and "Know" to start.😉👍

Hey Tyra, Actually Dimash brought me to you. I was a touring violinist for 25 years before brain surgery ended my career. Still play along at home to most of Dimash's music. Just wanted to thank you for being a lovely port in the storm. Yours in song, Love and light

Your reaction was very similar to my first one. I knew within 30 seconds that I was probably listening to the best singer in the world, because he was doing things with his voice I'd never heard before. The truly amazing thing about Dimash is you'd think, well I've heard Everything he can do, but you'd be so WRONG! He by far the most diverse singer/performer Ever. With an incredible near 7 octave range, the ability to sing in Any music style in 12 different languages. He has the most flexible voice yet with complete control that I've ever heard, and his breath control (he can belt a note for 25 seconds) He will in my opinion go down in history as the best all-around singer/performer of all time. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Dear Tyra, it is a great thing to use back stories and performance videos of his non English songs with subtitles added from the channel Gloria Wu. It is important to include the stories for Autumn Strong & Daididau & Daybreak but be aware that you MUST HAVE tissues ready as every time he sings those I can't stop crying although I am an emotional woman. There are also videos with subtitles on his channel Dimash Kudaibergen.

Amazing reaction, and be more amazed by Dimash by knowing that he was very nervous during this performance, and that he can not only do this song better but also that he can do everything he did in the song better. (More emotion, power, high/low notes.) And Dimash is multytalented so you have almost seen nothing from him.

'What a great pleasure, to see the reaction to Dimash, of someone who totally gets everything he did, and realized that he may be a living miracle. I am glad for you, that you now know about him. There are many, many more performances that you have still to look forward to. He calls his fans his "Dears," because (wait for it...) we are truly, sincerely DEAR to him. He is humble, hard-working, intensely honest, kind, deeply grateful for all the gifts with which he was born, and with a strong sense of the responsibility that comes with those gifts. He hopes to use his singing to encourage people to love each other more. I'm going to suggest a couple of titles you might enjoy: "Adagio," Opera 2, Sinful Passions, and, let me see--"Love is like a Dream." In that last one, until you've heard it once, you might want to wait with the comments during the last 1/3 of the song, for there's a moment which, if broken into pieces, loses a lot. Also, the visual at that point also is special, for it seems like you see him turning into an angel. Again, thank you so much for your charming AND knowledgeable reaction. I love music, and cannot sing AT ALL, so I'm grateful for those of you who CAN sing.I'll be hoping to see more of your reactions. Oh---one more, very important: Ogni Pietra This was composed specifically to utilize THIS voice, and it is a great example of two geniuses working together.

Dear Tyra: Welcome to the World of Dimash. This "Once in A Generation" singer is an absolute star of the first magnitude throughout Asia and, thanks to KZfaq, has garnered a world-wide following of fans called "Dears." I hope that this is only the first step in your discovery of this astonishing young performer. Please react/analyze the following two performances: "Autumn Strong" link - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fL6BaJuGkqvIlJs.html and "Sinful Passion" - link - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jZ92n6d-qNWcfIk.html "S.O.S" is little more than an appetizer and does little to prepare you for what is to come.

Welcome to the World of Dimash, a music virtuoso from Kazakhstan. Dimash has been formally training and performing since he was 5 years old; when it was determined he had perfect pitch. . Dimash combines many Styles such as, Contemporary, Classical (Opera), Modern, Pop, Jazz, with traditional Kazakh folk music.
