Tyra Thompson you might have noticed the Philippines have a lot of musical talent. KZ, Kayla, Khel, Daryl Ong, etc. I’m sure Filipinos will continue to recommend more artist. If I had to recommend a Filipino artist. I say Regine Velasquez. She is the Queen of Queens in the Philippines. Singers like Morissette hold her as the gold standard that they try to achieve. She is the Philippines’ Whitney Houston & Celine Dion..... combined. As Morissette is nicknamed Asia’s Phoenix. Regine is Asia’s Songbird. Actually, Regine & Morissette did a Mariah Carey medley performance.

Welcome to Mori world Tyra, lovely reactions. Please do some more MOrissette reactions, this is a good start. I know, you get into the bridge and you're not ready for that whistle, then you get into the chorus and the volume and clarity of her voice that never let up. Also, notice she doesn't seem to breathe, and after all of that barrage of volume she would bring it down while hitting another whistle note to terminate the song and gave you a chance to let off a breath for her. Then, she smiles!

A talented artist is just another artist to the normal audience but when that artist go through the test of fire of the cauldron of the druids of vocal coaches all over the world and certified by them as the real deal, then suddenly everyone eyes is made to relook their view of that artist in a whole lot of respect and a higher plane of pedestal deserving of her worth.
