This was 4th February 87 & by July 87 it was all over :( rip girl x

it was 1990 when Mel passed on, RIP

@@dynaco I know fin well it was but mel & kim stopped appearing on television in the July of 87 as mel was finally diagnosed with cancer that month so in effect it was all over for them after that the girls would never perform again a after that .. so sad .

Mel passed away from cancer but it doesn't have to be a tragedy. They are still inspiring and influencing other artist to this very day. They were ahead of their time in terms of style and image.

There is a popular gay bar named after one of ther songs in Hong Kong thats been around for ages, so.yes, their legacy is worldwide and continues on in so many unique ways.
