For more incredible EJ, my favourite performance is "O come all Ye Faithful" by Voctave. 😍 You may want to do it closer to Christmas or not, up to you 🤗

@@TempleMusicAcademy thank you for another great reaction to Voice Play. Would you please do reaction videos of Voice Plays cover song... Carry On My Wayward Son & Dream on ? In Dream On their newest member is Cesar, the guy with the big hair. He is the one that hits the high note at the end of Dream On. Voice Plays cover song Mr. Blue Sky is also awesome. Voice Play are known as The Theater Kids & are avery theatrical acapella group in a lot of their songs. Queen In 5 Minutes is a perfect example of that. Thank you.

You need to listen to VoicePlay featuring DeeJay Young "Bang." So many modulations and crazy 3 part harmony cord runs! So clean. He was also featured in Hamilton.

That chord-stacking technique you mention at the end is classic barbershop tag-arranging. Also, as others have mentioned, EJ is a longtime member of powerhouse acapella ensemble Voctave. Please check them out, you're in for some seriously good ear candy.

I agree, DJ. I thought that I'd seen you react to Voctave. But if you haven't... RABBIT HOLE!!! No beat boxer and a slightly larger group but, like VoicePlay, a little more theatrical than Home Free or Pentatonix. Lots of Disney and Christmas. EJ is phenomenal. Plus they have one of the best sopranos that I have ever heard in Kate Lott. Check out their "Disney Love Medley" featuring Kirsten Maldonado from Pentatonix. Their "O Come, All Ye Faithful" is also a huge crowd favorite. But you'll lose your cool when you hear their "Great Movie Medley."

EJ is with the a capella group Voctave. If you've never heard Voctave, you need to react to (or at least listen to) some of their music. They are fabulous. I high recommend O Come All Ye Faithful, where EJ takes the lead.

What a treat! VoicePlay, fantastic in their own right, featuring EJ from Voctive. If you want more of EJ, check out Voctive, an incredible 11 member a cappella group (no beat boxer) that typically employs 8 and 9 part harmonies in their arrangements. It's like a vocal symphony. You will not be disappointed. EJ is featured in their rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful. They do a Disney Princess Medley that features each of their five female vocalists that will knock your socks off. I look forward to more of your reactions.

I'll echo it here: you have to check out voctave's O Come All Ye Faithful for a showcase of EJ's prowess. Voctave as a group would be a great addition to upper react repertoire: Disney Showstopper Medley, Mary Did You Know ft Mark Lowery, The Carol of the Bells of Notre Dame (mashup) are good starters!

I love harmonies that give me chills, goosebumps, and sometimes tears! But am I the only one that actually "itches" when everything hits just right? It's like the next stage past perfection. If that makes any sense.

Hey DJ. Great reaction! I really like the way you explain the technical "stuff". EJ Cardona is AMAZING. He's a part of Voctave, don't know if you have reacted to them? Wrong season, but he really shines on "Oh come all ye faithful". Love how much you love the acapella.

EJ’s regular group is Voctave as others have said, my own personal favorite video that Vocative has done is a mash- up of Carol of the bells and the Bells of Norte Dame. you should listen to it it’s awesome

I truly enjoy watching your reaction vids. I don't always comment, but I must this time. The break down and education I get from your vids is a real blessing. Plenty of reaction channels where they act all crazy or over the top to get clicks. You use your knowledge, which in my view, is far more effective. Keep the greatness coming man. Appreciate what you bring to the KZfaq world. Of course, VoicePlay killing it with EJ Cardona.

Great reaction, you should also check out Pentatonix 90s Dance Medly, Come Along and Making Christmas. Home Free Sea Shanty medly. Peter Hollens Skyrim Theme (Full version and one with Lindsey Sterling), Hobbits Drinking Song, Durins Song and Misty Mountain (he has 2 versions one with Tim from Home Free). VoicePlay Light bulb and Death of a Batchelor. Superfruit Defying Gravity, Frozen Melody, Rise and Future Friends (title song and everything on the album).

Just found you and really enjoy what you do and how you do it. Was a bit disappointed you missed tuning in to some of the interesting things Layne was doing, but with VoicePlay there is always so much going on, it's easy for the ear to miss things. Would love a reaction to Geoff's cover of "Blackbird". His arrangement is lovely and it showcases his incredible voice range and quality

I love your comments and videos! I was looking for voiceplay reactions, and after your Oogie boogie video i subscribed :) I would love to see your reaction to their disneys medleys, they made The little mermaid medley and Moana medley, the Ariel is super awesome! The female singer, Rachel, was actually singing as Ariel in Disney world for several years, and her voice is so spot on, you are checking if you watch the movie or voiceplay :D

Loved this reaction and breakdown! I adore VoicePlay and thought this performance was just fantastic - they all knocked it out of the park. Such a sweet and uplifting song. (By the way, just a gentle suggestion, but it might be good to have a link to the original video for whoever you're reacting to in the description box somewhere so it's quick and easy for your followers to find. I think it's just a courtesy thing for the artists)

New. Just found you. And a lot of these great a capella bands. The melding is so heart yanking. Overwhelming and beautiful. But I'm wondering, where's the Home Free? I rank Voiceplay, Home Free and Pentatonix as my three faves. But maybe that's because I love a beautiful bass. I'm here for the bass. Tim, Geoff and Avi.

They are great but, I feel like Eli, Jay and, EJ are too similar. The female of Rachel Potter adds more to the group. Eli can get pretty high but, its that clear high Metzo/soprano that Earl gave but is missing, just a little, in this piece.
