Everyone here has a valid reason to be here. I've suffered quite alot. I've made horrible choices and had to make amends for them. I'm trying to be a better person. I'm trying to help my loved ones and take care of myself. Life is such a strange thing. 💜

You know, I looked back at your old videos and noticed this is a new direction for your channel, and I have to say that it was a great decision on your part. I don't know what truly inspired you to start making playlists with these positive vibes, but they did what they intended to do, and I've been thankful for them. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way, so thank you again ❤

I truly find music to be my mental medicine. Music has always been a part of my life. My grandmother was a composer and my dad was a drummer/vocalist in a famous rock back in Honduras in the 80s, with music going even further back in my family. Ive always sang my whole life, I really truly feel music down to my core being. That said, I listen to your playlists whenever Im going through something mentally. Whether its to destress from work as an ICU nurse, or to balance out my mental state if Im feeling lonely, or to calm my anxiety from all the other sources of stress I have to deal with. Tonight its to center me after catching up with the girl that got away. I cant begin to describe how convoluted that situation was, but it was as organic a way for two people to fall in love with one another over the span of a year. It was doomed from the start; I knew it wasnt meant to be from the beginning but one deep conversation after another just led to where I did and didnt want it to go, since I knew what the final outcome would be. It was still such a beautiful feeling, what little I was able to experience. Its been 5 months since that door officially closed, but its still something Im working on in terms of getting over her. Ive been with other girls since then, but I cant seem to get over the immediate connection I had with that girl and the connection that developed over time. Its hard to turn away from the one thing I felt was right and true, but it wasnt mine to have. I learned so much about myself from it all, and its helped me grow as a person. Ultimately, I have her to thank for playing that role in being a stepping stone for me to grow. But man, the selfish part of me still yearns for that connection. The feeling has died down over time, but I cant help but slip back into that funk whenever we catch up. Its bittersweet; shes still someone Id love to talk to as friends, but we both know that cant happen cause our feelings would grow again. So we just catch up every month or two through text and just let it be. This is a very long-winded post to say that your playlists always seem to satisfy their goal, at least for me. I still have a lot to be grateful for; the mental funk just likes to obscure that perspective from me, and the music is a great way to get me out of that funk and find my way again. The wrong music will help me stay in that funk and keep me in darkness, but the right music brings me back to the light. So thank you once again.
