The kind of song I look for when hearing the word "Shoegaze". This song gives off a dreamy feeling that's also spine-chillingly mellow because that's what it is, it makes you feel. One of my recently favorite songs finally having an MV. Makes me super excited for this, and for you Wisp! 🔥🔥

When this song came out, I stumbled upon it and immediately fell in love with it. I’d always daydream how heartbroken I’d be if my girlfriend left me while listening to this song, and afterwards I’d work out to burn off that energy. When that nightmare of a thought became my reality, I stopped listening to this song and this band all together. Now here I am once again… Except for this time, it’s not nightmarish daydreams, it’s memories.

I relate to this song a lot. In the sense there is someone who is in love with me, yet I can not reciprocate those feelings no matter how hard I want to. They look at me with so much love and emotion In them, and they tell me how much I mean to them. “I wish I could call you mine” I wish I could, I wish I could look at you and love you as deeply as you love me. But I fear I am actually just a horrible person you feel in love with. I am unlovable.

I was sure they would leave me when I told them how I felt, yet I admire them for staying and loving me just as much. Even though I cannot use the word “love” confidently I still feel deeply grateful for them.

I think I’m just afraid of love, afraid of admitting I love her. I think I would rather just admit to being unlovable than accepting my own emotions.
