For me, exept "liar" and "keep yourself alive" from the 70's, all the brillance of the band starting from "the night at the opera" album. They make a documentary there are two days ago in France about the hard way they take between the beginning of the group and the apparition of this masterpeace called bohemian Rhapsody. It's still unironically one of my fave Queen songs maybe because it's kind of weird with the text that kind of sounds like a person wants to make sweet sweet love to their car. I was disappointed when they proceeded to make jokes about it in the movie without actually playing it. 😂

In the early 70s, you could tell that their songs were more “confusing” if you could say, the lyrics were obscure (more or less the ones written by Freddie) and then the late 70s to the 80s it was more neutral.
