Huh?! How cud u say na more deserving si darren... Darren has a great voice...but Lyca has a greater soft voice..not all contests are bout birit at un ginawa ni Darren. I like darren but Lyca's voice runs in her genes. Da father, mother has great voices. No doubt na manalo sya. Wala pa syang train nun ng nag audition sya..while darren came from different competition na.. Bihasa na...deserve ni Lyca ang grand champion

Her story is really inspiring... But she is destined to be a star, winning the first The Voice Kids same season with JK Labajo and Darren Espanto. She has no training prior to joining the contest as she was just helping her parents by collecting trash. She captured the hearts of the viewers by her passion and hardwork. 👏👏👏

This performance was a slap to those who doubted her victory in the voice kids, where a lot of people were saying that her winning the competition was just because of her background story wherein highlights how she grew up in slums, living in poverty. I am glad because I was one of those who defended her way back then. She truly deserves the title.

She improves a lot. Ilang years naba nakaraan? Hindi siya huminto sa pagkanta. Ang naririnig mo ngayon ay yung improved version na. I still think Darren deserved that title before. Pero I guess, nakitaan ng mga judges ng potential si Lyca nung bata pa. Kumbaga more room to improved kung tawagin ng iba kaya siya pinile.

"KABILANG BUHAY" was originally a "Bandang Lapis" song. It was a very painful song. Most of people uses this song for the person who passed away. It was relatable. And Lyka Gairanod is the grand winner of The Voice Kids along with Darren Espanto and Juan Karlos Labajo ❤️❤️

She’s the first The Voice Kids grand champion where Darren Espanto is the 1st runner up and she won because public sympathize her status of living residing at the slum area but she’s a fully grown singer now who’s still very humble and down to earth. She is the First The Voice Kids Winner, making Darren Espanto the First Runner Up however after winning she did not really focus on her singing career unlike Darren but now she started to gain back her fame. Lyca Gairanod just turned 17 last November 21. She was the first Grand Champion of The Voice Kids Season 1. Her coach is Sarah Geronimo, they were same team of Darren Espanto back then. They were actually four (Lyca and Darren are team Sarah, Juan Karlos Labajo is team Bamboo and Darlene Vibares is team Lea) who fought through singing to get the Title and Lyca got it and declared as the 1st Grand Champion of The Voice Kids Season 1. She wasn't often performed on TV Shows unlike Darren but she's still remembered by many people. And as she gradually grow, her talent also get better and better specifically her vocal texture. She's just really a talented and kind singer. Actually, during their singing battle, she's not used to English Song and she had a hard time about it that's why mostly she performed is Tagalog Song and it makes her so amazing.
