A music who plays multiple instruments is a multi-instrumentalist. Every instrument has a technique for playing & no matter how ‘easy’ it seems to physically play, there’s definitely a wrong way to play, especially if your rhythm is off. If you just focus in on just. The tambourine, you’ll hear that just like the drums, it’s being played one way in the verses, then when they get to the bridge, it’s being played another way. It’s like a matter of orchestration. On the J5 tune, the little lick in the intro melody is similar, but groove wise, Smokin Out the Window is even more like Never Can Say Goodbye. Fun reaction. 👍🏾🎶

I'm 23, I've been listening to oldies ever since I was a kid because of my dad. When I first heard this, I immediately thought of earth wind and fire and the jackson 5. I damn knew it. I'm also a drummer and I can confirm what he said about drumming and singing. It's really damn hard.

I appreciate artists like Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak that appreciates and shows respect to a Culture that gave them a sound that they can create more masterpiece 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 That Smooth, Funk, Hip, Jazzy and R&B vibe. That Afro Soul ✊🏾 a lot of people in the industry shy'd away from that type of ART after the 90s 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

So sorry to be late to your party, your reaction was fun and intelligent. So many influences rolled in this one, but SS kept it fresh and can stand on its own. The lyrics playful, the ladies mixing,lol. This is how you get pregnant without taking off your clothes. Don't sleep on the chord changes, wheeew. Stay well

Greeting to both of you!! My today's suggestion is a new song entitled "We Died In 2012", from the French Canadian project named So-Fi. On this one, you will hear a beautiful warm angelic female voice, surrounded by a cloudy Industrial/Pop/Metal universe: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qKynjcZ40uCyiWQ.html

@brownvirtue
@brownvirtue 3 жыл бұрын
I’ve watched interviews with Anderson and Bruno and he didn’t say anything about The Hooligans being over. They said that Silk Sonic is the name of their duo. Maybe this is a one album project and it’ll be back to Bruno Mars and The Hooligans for the next album. They still work together. They were in the video.
