Ren stated in his Twitch stream earlier that at 10am UK time tomorrow (10/19/2023), anyone that purchases a digital download will also get some 'bonus' tracks included. 1 song that didn't make the album but a few instrumentals. As for location, I read that when he steps outside at the end of the vid you can see the location that he and Sam were busking at in the background. It's awesome that Ren's whole universe is in this one little neighborhood. I get the feeling you can walk to every location he's flmed in in five minutes, with the Murderer building at the center of it all.

Animal Flow is Orwell's Animal Farm meets Kubrick's Eye's Wide Shut and Kubrick's Clockwork Orange. It's worth noting in the bathtub is an actress in a "Creature from the Black Lagoon", AKA Gill Man, mask. Ren's last name is Gill.

Andrioo : I was just like you - assigned reading was the surest way to get me disinterested. But lemme tell you this: if you go back and read it in your own time, it will be worth it! I did that for 1984 and was thoroughly impressed and grateful that I did read it on my own. They are classis for a _reason_ . Enjoy! BP : I also get certain words mixed-up. I think many of us do - like a short-circuit in the brain. My dad always mixed-up mirror and umbrella. My wife had window and door (which made for some laughs!) and me it's bread and wood. I don't think there's any logic behind it - but I think it's just a human thing. Animal Flow, worth noting, starts "you're in the mind..." and he walks through the building with the cane on his shoulder. As soon as he steps outside though, he has to lean on that cane. Like in his mind he isn't sick, but otherwise he is.

Yeah, school tends to suck the life out of the classics. Years after high school, I decided to go on a classics binge, including The Brothers Karamazov, Les Miserables, Brave New World, Tess of the D'urbervilles, etc., and I couldn't get enough of it. Recently Ren said he was reading Breakfast of Champions (Kurt Vonnegut), so he continues to feed his brain. (Excellent call about Ren's cane, by the way! I didn't pick up on that.)

@@SuzanneO707 Thank you! I live in Albuquerque, where libraries still exist, lol. I still spend a lot of time there, perusing the aisles for novels. There's something more satisfying and "organic" about reading hard copy books than staring at the cold glow of a computer screen.

@@ClearTheRubble7 Couldn't agree more. You could say I was slightly biased, but having hosted baby & toddler book groups. Its a joy to watch their faces light up and see them working things out, even just turning pages (sometimes for the first time). I enjoy it when adults come to book groups and share their thoughts too. It can get a bit heated, sometimes. Lol. Reading literature, in whatever format, is great. Nothing quite like, the tactile, personal, immersive experience of being absorbed in a book. It certainly makes the commute more bearable and enhances life, in general. Its so cool that Ren is recommending books to discover, in such accessible way. A campaign over here to save libraries,had the backing of, amongst others, David Bowie & John Lydon. There you go! Happy perusing. Ren should host a online book group , he would be brilliant at it.🤗So proud of him. Rick Astley, at numero uno, is from my home city Manchester. And I have had many a holiday in Anglesey, where Ren grew up. Kind of surreal. Really rooting for Ren and all his pals, and good too, that people are here for the ride.

@@SuzanneO707biggest argument in favour of paper books? BNI ; Batteries Not Included! I'm sick to bloody death if having to charge things, and constantly starting to get into a read and seeing I'm at 2% battery... With real books (we of the older ages just call them "books") you can read anywhere, anytime, upside down or in outer space 😂

Spot on BP. This was the same setting as Violets Tale. It's Sam's apartment, I believe. Ren spoke on stream about them having to steal plants out of people's gardens for the starting scene

This is the building where Violets tale was filmed.but Ren exits through a rear door where Violet was beaten . Ren's friend Benny , lived in the apartment that was transformed. As with most of Rens videos permission was not asked for to use the building as a video shoot >

The *borrowed* the plants and I think it was the same location as violets tale! BP is correct animal farm by george orwell it is a very short book! I recently bought it for a friend Hope you both are doing well💚🤗🍀

Yes, Violets tale was in the basement of this building and used the back stairs into the alley and ended up at the Meeting House Ln area. Also I think Hi Ren and Sick Boi too in the basement. ..not for certain on those two.

I love these two tracks! The layers of Ren Definitely fits my vibe style - ska was my first love, closely followed by rock and metal- Between my love for Sublime and then Sleep Token hit my top 5 a few years ago and stayed-Falling in Reverse hits another over a decade long love- Sugarcult stays still- but Ren is inching up there with his many styles for many moods

Just so you know, this was filmed in the building opposite where they often busk. So where big push recorded war pigs and I shot the sherif etc. there is a building there called the ivy and they filmed in the flats above that.
