Been a rocker since Iron Butterfly blew me away with In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida back when I was a teenager in the 60's. These girls instantly became my new favourite band when I came across them on KZfaq several years ago. I have everything they've done on Apple Music and it's all I play in the car with Apple CarPlay. Every song they've recorded or played live I can't think of a single thing I'd want them to add or take away. They simply craft perfection.

I was able to see The Warning last year when they were on tour with Hailstorm,The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. They are absolutely amazing live. High energy and a huge sound for just a three piece band.

So it is Ale(jandra) the bassist who sings the low notes.

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 the did over 100 gigs in North and South American along with Halestorm and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. At home they are humble down to earth individuals.

You get it so well having done this yourself your whole life.... same here.... and I do think they love being closer together. There is SO much you have to experience about these women..... The drummer is intense.... as a person.... but sweet and caring, and intense. and she is the main creative songwriting brain in the band, although they all write songs and all work on every song together after they start with one person. And they all sing well. And they've been doing this, like at a professional level, since they were little children. So they are young still now but have nearly a decade of experience in the same band together... the only band they've ever been members of, although some of them have done brief collabs. So many videos I want to link you to.... but I think you will get great suggestions from people here. I do suggest the song Dust to Dust.... personally I like the live version at a venue called Foro Didi. That song will surprise you.... it is the opening track to their second album Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a rock novel.. the entire album tells a story through the lyrics. And it was a darker phase in their music that is just awesome, while they were all teenagers.

BTW, Ale, the Bass player does a lot of gang vocals and low harmonies. Sometimes she does the high falsetto harmonies too. All three are gifted talents, once in generation band!!!

I was in the choir of the church n the teacher there told us about smiling with the eyes, its like a technic or something like for singing better or idk at that moment i was like nah, but as i start to get more into music n watching singers i definitely notice that “smiling” with the eyes 😅 in many of them i guess those are the crazy eyes 😅

One of the pedals Pau (drummer) has on the floor is for controlling lights, track, Dany's Pedal Board & everything else happening on stage . I think Ali's board is independant. maybe not. Soooooo..... in addition to singing, & drumming.......she also runs the (used to be garage band) (I think now) Ableton software that manages the show. Listen to Ali singing "hunter". She generaly sing's lower than the other 2. But Pau has great range.

They just announced a US tour in May, I'm going to their Baltimore show. Pau the Drummer, sings lead on a number of their songs. She practices singing while running so she has the stamina and strength to do both at the same time.

Dany basically "acts out the song" for every tune they play. She's arguably the most emotionally expressive person of the sisters, and it shows in her performance. Her eyes can be crazy, loving, sad, menacing, or whatever is required, depending on the subject matter of the piece. It does indeed add a great emphasis to the performance.

This is a brilliant song, musically, lyrically and performatively (is that a word?). The Warning live is like a storm in the face. The bass and drums are locked, leaving Dany to be the lightning. The energy is built in every song.

The first thing i heard of TW was Money where Dany hooked me after only a few seconds. And i was like, what is this!? And i immediately did a search and down the rabbit hole i went. These girls are so talented and can´t write a bad song. Every new thing they release is a banger. And despite they are different personalities they have what they do in common. Ale, Pau and Dany are each one a experience but together they are fire! Have you seen their take on Enter Sandman during the same gig as this, if not do it. It will leave you speechless. Nina, it seems, other than the amazing Muse and the great Foo Fighters, all the other great rock and metal bands today are all female. Along with The Warning, you need to check out the incredible all-female bands of Japan 🇯🇵. They say Rock didn’t die, it just moved to Japan! And it’s quite true. Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, Bridear and Gacharic Spin are all remarkable all-female bands. There’s also BabyMetal, which is a whole experience, if you’ve never seen them. But the band I recommend you check out next and my personal favorite; who happen to be friends of The Warning, is BAND-MAID! 🔥 The Maids are the whole package like the Villarreal sisters and with 5 members have a broader and more full and complex sound which I think you’ll appreciate. There have great MV’s but they’re absolutely amazing live so I recommend you watch: - “Domination” - official live video 🤩 You won’t be disappointed in what Band-Maid is all about and just may be a Maidiac before you know it!! Suggestion: Eruca Sativa-"Fuera O Más Allá' Their bassist is Ale Villarreal's idol.

So they started way back when with a cover of "Enter Sandman " that kicked off their rise and grew at warp speeds. Metallica then invited them to make a new "cover" of it for the Black Anniversary Album and like the Many other artists on that album were encouraged to add their own flavor to it. So they completely restructured the entire song and made it their own and featured the singer Alessia Carra on it with them on the official recording. It really is worth the listen (both studio and live) and of course they cap it with a nod to the original as well that's a perfect ending really. I would highly recommend it either for reaction or on your own if you haven't yet!!! 🤘😝🤘
