You missed the introduction when David Foster who co-wrote the song for the two of them talks about it. This song was written specifically for the two of them.

At 3:24 Celine Dion let out one of the most amazingly beautiful nuanced notes, characterized by subtle layers and complexities, and the guy says "the piano" . What a goof! Not even one compliment for one of the most massively gifted singers ever to have existed.

This is the original. They sang it separately in Quest for Camelot in 1998 & released it together in 1999. This performance was in NY I believe? Wasn’t that symphony orchestra amazing?

I recommend a Spanish singer, her name is Diana Navarro. She is very versatile and sings many styles of music. She has a very particular voice with incredible melismas and notes. The title of the song is "EL PERDÓN" greetings from Spain.

Every time I rewatch this video or I hear this duet I have goosebumps and I have to say, dor once, sorry, I hated you a bit for your constanst stop and go and talking.... :DDDDDDD There a lot of covers of this song but none is like the original in my opinion. The powerful voice of Celine and the almost tender tone of the "tenore di grazie" Andrea Bocelli blend perfectly on this song, it really sound like a heartfelt prayer to me. Andrea's timbre has this peculiar quality that sounds whispering to me while usually tenors sounds more high-pitched... (sorry I know he's not really whispering it's just that I don't know technical terms especially in English, I hope what I wrote makes sense to you). In any case thanks for reacting to this amazing duet, really appreciated.

She’s sang in a lot of different languages. Italian here, tons of English and French, she released one of her early French singles in German as well. She’s done a song in Chinese (phonetically), two that I can think of in Japanese too. Probably some more that I’m missing. She’s not scared of languages at all lol

This wasn’t a reaction to their performance. This was a reaction to the size of the crowd, the size of the orchestra, the piano, the “church” chord, the violins, whether they’ve miked the orchestra, other versions you want to hear, and your own voice as you talk about everything except the depth and breadth of their performance. That’s 9 minutes and 7 seconds I’ll never get back.
