I take a more sad vibe from this song, like being in love with someone you know will never reciprocate. It hits home a little, the part "for the time i kept spending pretending is real" and "but now that is ending I still have some feelings to spare", and the list could go on. I would just sing "uninvited guest" in place of "unwelcomed guest" because we all know we kinda like to have those thoughts, but it hurts, but they keep coming even if you wpuld rather they didnt.

You should react to “Make it” or “Pictures of Mountains” by Cody fry both of them are brilliant compositions Music has a way of speaking with phrases that tugs at heart strings of people with what could sometimes even be considered unnoticed details upon first or second viewing, deep breakdowns of songs can show just how much detail and emotion was put into it. Which is why I’m glad gems like this song is getting the attention it deserves thanks for reacting

When you started riffing on your guitar to Kaden singing, it completely overwhelmed me and made it so i couldn't breathe while tearing up with the amazing beauty of both of yours artistry. Maybe it's just cuz I'm in a really bad spot mentally and physically right now, and I'm trying to touch...something I used to be that I feel like I am not anymore. But man....I feel like I don't see art anymore, even though art is more prolifically available and seen these days... Spiritual experience. Thank you both. Don't feel incantations much anymore. I miss the feeling.

The painfully sincere notes in this song made it a perfect theme for one of my characters. He has become so paranoid of whether or not people truly love him or not. He’s an affectionate and caring person but due to certain aspects outside of his total control, he’s had to question the sincerity of others frequently.

Love Kaden McKay! He writes the most beautiful lyrics. I’m a poetry girl and his lyrics are truly poetic (not something I’d generally refer to song lyrics as). They have a natural cadence and melody even separate from the music none of which feels forced. It just follows the natural flow and stress of the words. He uses internal rhymes as well as a consistent rhyme scheme within each stanza. He uses alliteration and consonance but his word choice makes it feel colloquial and completely natural. In fact, I said it about the cadence, but literally NONE of it feels forced. It’s just beautiful and effortless. His metaphors are unique and interesting without feeling out of place, but also somehow familiar. And the content just feels so sincere and real. Not to mention his voice is really comforting and warm. ❤ All in all love his stuff.

hey david, there was a lil game called No Straight Roads that came out a lil under the radar that I think you'd love to check out. It's all about a duo of underground rock artists getting rejected from a corrupt music label that runs a whole ass city and they go about kicking the heads of the label's asses live at their own damn concerts. The soundtrack is very eclectic and while i'd love you to check it out, the fanmade songs for it do a wonderful job of restructuring the parts of the fantastic game music into what was probably about to be played before the protaginists barged in. The one I'd like for you to check out most is "VS 1010 WITH LYRICS - No Straight Roads Cover" by Juno Songs right here on youtube! it's wonderful, it even includes the best bits of the iconic pre-battle banter

There are some gray harmony's and I'm pretty sure a whistle note or just a really high note. Also a long time ago you reacted to Helluva Boss Season 1.
