Elvis was sick and still gave a great performance. I saw him three months before he passed away. I could see he was so sick. That voice never failed him. He loved his fans and we love him. Elvis will never be forgotten.

3:34 ‘he gave it all for his fans’ Always did. Nothing left on stage. I think maybe he somehow knew his time was short and gave even more in those last concerts. Still gives me chills and tears. Some musicians called this ‘fat Elvis’ but he was/is an icon and had more talent, charisma then many who came after and said this. His looks were still there too. RIP🙏

Thank you Elvis for everything you gave us...so much talent...generosity. ..kindness. ..humor..passion for your craft..and the way you helped us forget our troubles and just enjoy your singing and YOU...When you were alive it just felt like everything was going to be ok...

I always have a bitter sweet feeling when seeing our boy performing in the last years and in this case last few months of his life. He was obviously very sick and in completely different shape from only 4 years earlier and when you think only 9 years from his NBC special where he looked amazing. On the other side with songs like this and How Great Thou Art he could sing with a power that just makes you watch in awe and probably shed a few tears. God rest you Elvis.

When some one on stage can make you cry they have done their job. This was real, even if some parts left out. Generations have seen his beginning, middle, and end. He accplished so much in entertainment, few can do that. We saw his comeback,s and then his going away. Like A star is born in n some ways.

Hey John. Hurt has always been one of my favorite songs. No one sings it better than Mr Elvis. I am a huge Elvis fan. I saw him twice in concert and it was two of the most amazing nights of my life. You could be in a building of 10-12 thousand people and when he walked out on that stage it was like a tornado swept through the room. When he started to sing the other people disappeared and it was just you and him. I was a teenager in the 50s and 60s. OMG what a time to be young. We were living in the middle of musical history and had no clue. All we knew was that we loved it and it was fun. I was a Beatles fan as well, but Elvis will always be #1 in my heart.

Elvis combines, blues, country, pop, and both white and black Gospel music, and in the end he hit notes that would impress Pavarotti.. Even though he isn't well, you can feel his soul, passion and every drop of emotion.. We get to feel the pain, joy, loss, surrender, and victory all at once. Its no wonder Dylan stated that without Elvis he wouldn't have been able to find those lyrics and write them without shame.. Elvis opened doors and broke down walls like no one before him.. Men and women, young and old love him.. Unconditional love.. You see it in his eyes.. No ego, just love. Doesn't matter that he doesn't look like the Greek God in Black leather any longer, or the King in the early 70's.... I love him just the same! Thank you for sharing!

OMEGAMAN EPISODE 5522 GENETIC EHLERS DANLOS. ACCOUNTS for the short life and most meds he took that caused the bloating. That is what bothered him that people thought it was all fat. His voice never let him down. I'm so glad you got to this one.Simply amazing . Yes he only had weeks to live after this. Such a great loss to the world when we lost him. I always think of it as a great light went out all over the world the day we lost him.😢😢RIP E!vis!!!!😊

I’m sure Elvis is play acting when he jumps right at the beginning when Ronnie Tutt hits the drums 😄

Precisely this version, so close to his death, is hyper-exciting; the vocal power, the instrumental beauty, its fragility, how wonderful; it is heartbreaking, such an emotion. He was a hardworking, incomparable singer, the king of music; no matter what stage he was in, when he was thin or even overweight, Elvis was beautiful in appearance and also in spirit. Beautiful reaction. God bless you. Hugs from Brazil!

Even if Elvis wasn't in in the best of health Elvis's voice never failed him in fact I'd say his vocal range was never better than in that last couple of years ,

I believe Elvis Presley was singing this song to all who ever hurt him. He put so Emotional feelings in his songs. I also believe he was singing this to Priscilla. Ginger knew he still loved his wife.

Another classy reaction John, on a performance from June 21 just 8 weeks from the end. His last concert was in Indianapolis on June 26 and if you have 5 minutes search out Hurt (amateur film) for your own enjoyment where he literally blasts the speakers.
