I think this album is a work of genius. I know some fans of older Nightwish are unhappy with it, which is unfortunate. Artists that don't evolve and try new things become pointless.

This song and album was mixed and mastered by the same duo that mixes and masters all of Lovebites music. I think they have mixed and mastered all (or at least most) of Nightwish's music, as they are also from Finland.

PAN or "Pancake" (According to Emppu 🤣): Pan is about creativity and storytelling. There's references to mythology Neil Geihman, Guillermo Del Toro, Pat Rothfuss, Tolkien, and many others. One of the key pieces to remember is that Pan has a couple meanings. One of them is literally "Everything" Like Pansexual, Pandemic, Panorama. Human Creativity is all encompassing. So many of the references are multi-meaning. The Labyrinth reference isn't just Greek Myth. It's the Jim Henson Movie, Pan's Labyrinth, and more. It's in essence a song about Tropes and the Beauty of the way humans use them. It's the Panoply of Human Ideas. Pan is also the scientific name of chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes) and lyrics mention "An ape in awe before a door" which is claimed to be a reference to the scene of "Space Odyssey 2001" with hominids and extraterrestrial monolith NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘

Regarding the drumming, Kai said that when he heard some of the demo tracks for this album, he thought "I can't play that with my current kit". He said he had to add 5 additional drums on his left side. I'm not sure if some of those drums are coming through here, but it is possible.

I like the album Human:I:Nature (but i had to listen it some time to realy love it .. And after 2 Years-Pandamic seeing them live with some of this songs are wonderful !)
