Yep. P1HARMONY KILLIN IT FOR SURE. AMAZING SONG RIGHT HERE.
The way they structured this potentially 'simple' music to make it more complex and interesting is just...chef's kiss. We love when they take something straight forward and twist things in a subtle manner so that if you don't pay attention, you can't tell what they did. And P1Harmony did wonders with this song in that regard. We. Loved. It. So. Much. Let's keep it going because we FEEL like we learned a bit of P1harmony's color in general, but not enough to be certain.

Yes!! Jongseob did win KPop Star Season 6 and also competed in Treasure Box, but was eliminated in the second to last episode. He turned 15 y/o a month after debuting in P1Harmony. So talented! He writes 3-6 rap versions for each track and then lets the producer/ members help decide which one matches the song best. Kinda crazy. P1Harmony actually has a very diverse discography. Their title tracks all go pretty hard, but they also have some beautiful ballads and mid tempo tracks. There are performance videos for “Peacemaker”, “If You Call Me” and “I See U”, a self made MV for “More Than Words” and a lyric video for “I Am You” ( which is about as different from their hip hop hype sound…but has absolutely stunning vocals/harmonies). Enjoy!

I first heard about Jongseob in a random kpop rap video and I was impressed by his flow, he is truly a genius maknae. I'm so glad he got me into P1harmony Also, this album is insanely good, it seems like their colors are stronger not only as a group but individually as well.

late to this reaction lol but since you like jongseob’s rap so much, i thought i would share with you his explanation of it. he mentioned it in the behind the scenes video of the mv: “my root came 2005” obviously is just saying when he was born lol. very clever. “I have a star 것도 6 piece” he said has two meanings one of them being that there’s 6 people in p1h and the second being, like you mentioned, the fact that he was in kpop star season 6 (honestly so cool. his brain is beautiful lol) that’s all he mentioned personally and i think the rest of the verse speaks for itself interpretation wise. personally, i think the second line of his rap “to 두 탕 뛰고 난 지금까지 still alive now” also refrences both kpop star and his time on treasure box before his debut in p1harmony. overall, his flow went crazy and he said particularly the verse was written with greater attention to rhythm and rhyme which i felt both were shown. he’s so underrated
