You know what the funny thing about Dimash is? He's the nightmare of reactors. Reactors usually pause his video to comment on what they just heard. But because Dimash is changing tone and octaves every 5 seconds, reactors pause to comment the previous 5 seconds and pause again after 5 seconds and goes on and on till the end of his video. LOL

It is completely out of the ordinary how Dimash Qudaibergen manages to convey extremely different emotions by singing almost exactly the same lyrics but using a different dynamic, a different key, a different timbre and different sound production techniques! He begins with the shyness and doubt of a stranger who enters a territory totally foreign to him (when he plays the piano and with sounds surrounded by breath), moves on to the desire to try his strength to achieve a new beginning in life (then when he achieves that magnificent passage through the whole spectrum of his vocal rank using very different techniques of singing on each register) and reaches the end to have the power of the winning hero who not only tried, not only fought but finally defeated (when he shows us the power of his belting and that high and super long note of 20 seconds)! I only scored 3 moments, but they were more because between the choruses there were 2 slightly different moments of storytelling, but both in its register below the bass-baritone and there was another chorus (in total there were 5 choruses and two slightly more parts of the story, all in different dynamics, different keys and very different vocal techniques performed impeccably from a technical point of view, but also with strong emotional effects in the sense of impressive and maximum effect on the audience that practically listened to the whole song almost hypnotized)! For me it was the perfect song of the moment and it was a sublime demonstration of how much Dimash Qudaibergen can still progress even though it is already far beyond his contemporaries !

The Kobyz (Kazakh: қобыз) or kyl-kobyz is an ancient Kazakh string instrument. It has two strings made of horsehair. The resonating cavity is usually covered with goat leather. Traditionally kobyzes were sacred instruments, owned by shamans and bakses (traditional spiritual medics).

👉 A Dear wrote: “These are the voices of the world singing the tragedy of human migration forced by tragic circumstances.” Another Dear: “Dimash is not only a singer, but a messenger of something very deep that has been lost in music lately ... Dimash invades our soul and never leaves it.” On August 19, 2021, for the first time the sound of kobyz was heard on the stage of the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The tandem of Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash Qudaibergen (voice) with the best Kobys player in the world Olzhas Qurmanbek, have presented a new, really unique song in English with enchanting oriental melodies. The idea to add kobyz to the new song came to Dimash after he first heard the melody "Stranger". He decided that the folk instrument would fit perfectly into the song, giving it an exciting sound. The performer of the kobyz part is Olzhas Kurmanbek. The music was created by Russian song-writer Igor Krutoy (musictitan, billionaire), and the lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, is an American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world) The main arrangement was made by Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan). “It was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way”, - Krutoy said. (Source: Dimashnews) 👉 Backstage-video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/laqmpLyJ2LOzcas.html 👉 The New Wave’s story started in 2002, and for many years it has been one of the most iconic music events not only in Russia, but for the entire world. The television audience of the New Wave covers more than 200 million people. In this year’s finale, 11 participants from 9 countries will fight for the grand prize of modern pop music. In 2021 Dimash took part at the New Wave as a guest and juror. In 2018 Dimash was was invited as a guest for the first time in 2018 by Igor Krutoy. He sang Sinful Passion - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jZ92n6d-qNWcfIk.html 🌼🇩🇪

👉 Here is playing the best Kobys player in the world, Dimash’s friend Olzhas Qurmanbeck. 👉 The Kobys or Kobyz or Kylkobyz is an old Turkic stringed instrument, has two horsehair strings, the wooden sound box is covered with goatskin and is played with a bow. The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and, according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the prototype of all European string instruments. (Turkic means: The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups from Central, East, North and West Asia as well as parts of Europe and North Africa who speak Turkic languages.) A legend about Kobyz says that this instrument was created by the great steppe narrator Korkyt-Ata, who lived in the 10th century and that the tool is charged with magical and even mystical properties and sounds like animal voices. In addition, the Kazakh people believed that the spirits of their ancestors spoke to them through this music. The old outlook and piety towards their instruments and music was constantly preserved in traditional Kazakh society and ensured the highest spiritual level of musical art and a special respectful attitude towards musical instruments. Simple people, for example, did not dare to touch the shaman's Kobyz. It is said: The balance between the courses of life and death on earth can be maintained by playing the Kobyz. (www.)🌼🇩🇪

Please it is Eyegor something from Young Frankenstein. Marty Feldman played the part of the henchman Igor, but wanted everyone call him Eyegor. It was funny when that movie came out and I was a bit baked. Check out his last note in Ave Maria. He gives his hand signal like wait I am not done yet and he holds his mouth as if he hasn't taken a last breath it makes this effort seem like chump change if it is correct. The movie I was talking about came out in 1974, I was 23. It gets hard to have a conversation about his performances because they soon run out of superlatives to use when talking about his vocals.
