Most underrated Australian artist. I dont listen to female musicians except for Olympia. Shes a raw talent. I like how her voice is genuine and also she’s not afraid to be feminine

Great song, great video. It's rare that both a song and its video both give me chills. It's a real vibe that is so unique.

Your talking mouth/ breathes cigarettes/ Through your teeth /white flags and smoke signals /Pocket of change/ A lose bone that moves / namelesly through blood/ (You’re my) my mirror, my wound I know that car turned twice / everyone sees it different, differently now The world keeps turning/ safe place to fall / Hugging your shadows / up on the wall/ Mouth full of yellow / you sing along / Hoping your last / resort is warm Chromatic give/ hearts broken bloom / colours every frame you see through / Shoplifting charge / it’s not that hard / to disappear / hot goods turn godless And I know, your car turned twice / everyone sees it different, differently now The world keeps turning/ safe place to fall / Hugging your shadows / up on the wall/ Mouth full of yellow / you sing along / Hoping your last / resort is warm / Know that I love you / don’t be so cold / The marching band / came out in gold / You know the tune / Can’t hear the song / Memory short / forgettin’ long

If Olympia were to release a cover of Blondie's "Call me", "one way or another" or "heart of glass", I'm sure it'd sell well.

+Olympia That's awesome! My wife and I were arguing about how you it would have been filmed. My argument for the painstaking analogue method of old, my wife thinks it was all digital. Perhaps you could settle this by letting on how many times you actually had to sing the song for the video?!?

WARNING CHOKE
@Oliver-17553 ай бұрын
Someone said this was a "ripoff" of Chemical Bros Let Forever Be and the similarities are obvious. I wouldn't quite say that but I wouldn't argue either. You're a great fan-I wouldn't have seen their vid if you hadn't spoken up. Keep in mind there are producers and directors involved also. Dearest Olympia lets us infer that she's a one-woman band and if I had made my own bones maybe I would too. Girl can sing, though. Is that melody? I don't know. Can play a gitfiddle or two also. I just discovered it, but its delicious...
@garrywilliams73305 жыл бұрын
I reckon this video is a homage to Simple Minds' All The Things She Said from 1986 - check it out at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qt-kg8an3rClg5c.html Very similar, and maybe why people are getting the 80's vibes.
