She wanted to go more rock n roll when she was 15 on her Meet Miley Cyrus album but of course her young voice and Disney’s editing made it more pop rock. Her song See You Again is really cool and she recently countrified it.

I’ve never been much of a fan of Miley and also being Irish, I am very protective of the Legacy of Dolores O’Riordan and in particular, the significance to this song to the Irish people. I therefore came into this video ready to slate Miley for even attempting to cover this song. However, I have to admit that I was absolutely blown away by this cover. She stayed through to the original, felt every word she was singing and basically rocked the hell out of it. Kudos Miley!!!

Miley is an Alto. Not a Sparano ll or 1. That's why she can hit the really low notes. She is a story teller. But the story no matter what song it comes from her soul. She's uses her entire body as her instrument. She's grounded in confidence and opens her spirit to sing.

@@EmmaRobertsStan The vocal range thing is silly. It changes day to day and a lot of times certain notes will never be in a performance. She's a very low alto according to "Choral" ranges. Mezzo soprano is over used, she has an EXTREMELY deep voice for a woman. It's lower than most tenors, and she's a phenomenal singer cause of it.

Much as I love the "Heart of Glass" cover, I think this is a better range for her. I especially love how her voice sounds in the verses. It's so deep for a female voice.

I'm late to the party but I watched this video on Facebook and I LOVED IT WITH HER VOICE. The song just felt so GOOD to my ears. I couldn't stop listening to it. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Every morning I would wake up and hear Miley's voice singing it. It is very impactful. Seeing her passion while singing it.. it's like the song was written for her! Still my top favorite cover of 2020.

Actually she always has been rock influenced. Yes Ronson is good but he isn't the reason. She wasn't planning on releasing rock album. In fact she had two hip hop Album lined up which she trashed suddenly few months ago and went for a rock influenced album. Heart of Glass , Man Eater and such performances were then performed as teasers. And some of the songs in the newest album which is already released was written way before she met Mark. There's even a video on YT uploaded a year ago where she and Liam ( Ex husband ) are lip syncing to her newest ' Bad Karma ft Joan Jett ' and it was just as it is now.

@@youdontknowme2534 I really loved their collaboration for Nothing Breaks Like a Heart. He just really seems to bring out the best when he produces music. I fell in love with Amy Winehouse when she put out Frank but after being in the studio with him he seemed to coax the masterpiece in my opinion of Back To Black. Miley is truly talented on her own and is probably the most interesting thing in music right now.

Think the drummer is a guy called Stacy Jones. Who has worked with Miley since 2006 as a music director and is former front man and guitarist for band American Hi-Fi.

That killer guitar solo, I’m wondering, do I have to see it as smt that was in the moment where the drumplayer etc followed the guitarist (but if so, how can they know what his next move/note is gonna be?) or was all of it practised beforehand?

They are obviously well rehearsed but solos are improvised. It’s like having a conversation, we know what the subject is but we don’t know what we’re going to say next. It all happens in the moment. Music is a language and we communicate with each other in real time. Great question!

This is a brilliant version of a great track. You really need to also do the Bad wolves version as it was meant to be recorded with the original singer Dolores O'Riordan, but she unfortunately passed away before the final recording. This band done a fantastic job as a tribute to her. It also means alot to me as I'm from the UK. Keep up the good work, great channel 👍

Different takes on this amazing song. Dolores' version is the true one; more authentic because she wrote it and obviously lived through that period - she is/was the same age as I am. But I adore Miley, who also does this fantastic song justice.

Loved how you are soooooo into it and appreciate artist that rock for real. Your keyboards are really good. I loved the original and it saddens me that the vocalist is no longer with us. She had such an iconic sound but now Miley has made it her own. I.was never a fan prior to this but when I saw Miley do Debra Harry's Heart of Glass, she nust blew me away. Something epic Has occured with Miley Cyrus and I like you would really like to know what are the experiences that has so radically changed her voice, her powerful delivery and especially how she and her band are so synced. Yeah, I loved this video but am so curious Thank you.
