The song was originally supposed to be titled Lord, but the record company was nervous that the success of the song could be hindered if it was made religious. I don't go to church every Sunday but anyone can hear in the lyrics, he's talking about the Lord "So many people use your name in vein, LORDDDDD, those who have faith in you sometime turn astray."

It comes with the territory of life girl.Just surrender your control of it to the Lord (many call him Jesus) and ask him to give you the strengh to deal with your issue or take the wheel himself. Remember to give thanks for the littlest things no matter how small. Sometimes feeling lost comes with purpose, and is for a good reason! This might not make much sense, but trust me when I say, you won't find the beautiful parts of yourself neither be introduced to life's beauty when whatever fairy tale you've pictured and pursued *seems to be going good. you'll more than likely be wasting your time away, settled in a cookie cutter fantasy only to eventually feel blah and look bland. Trust me when I say that "feeling lost" is trying to get you away from whatever you're drawn to, have settled for......pursuing, believe that you need.......doesn't matter if it be a relationship or an interest....... as there's something bigger and better for you elsewhere. A few years ago, after someone I really cared about did the unthinkable, one too many times, my rage took me to a place of no return. on many occasions I felt "lost", and even though my spirit was trying to direct and guide me in ways that I not only saw with my own eyes, but in my dreams, I *chose to ignore it. The kind of person that I am, once I open my mouth and everything that I have held back leaves my tongue, more than likely we will never speak again......and for me, this will be so without regret. I remember leaving my apartment and driving to the store after the incident and a woman that was sitting off to the side said to me, as though she knew me, "don't worry you will never see that person again, you don't have to worry because they're out of your life for good!" I was taken aback as I wondered how she was spot on with her insight. Sometimes you have to look at feeling lost as you need to listen, as there's something extremely important that you're missing, or maybe don't realize. It's to listen to what you're seeing, as well as experiencing......and at times, what you're being told......especially if it's coming from someone that *cares about you. I'm grateful for my spiritual connections that I have as they have always guided me without error, and have been patient with me, even when I wanted to do things my way. life is funny, as there's more to it than meets the eye. Find self, and you will forever receive the guidance that you need to overcome the darkest of people and moments, doesn't matter who or what is involved!

After all these years I wanna say that 6 days after my son turned 3, my king 👑, my fiancé was tragically taken away from me just because he was trying to stop 2 other people from a confrontation. This was our song... I remember not even a week after he’d passed I awoke in the middle of the night and the video was playing on tv. I knew it was him reminding me of our song “LOVE” . Our son is now 22 years old and to this day his dad is still “ My king” WE HAD LOVE 💗every accomplishment big or small I have always thought about him. I have dedicated my new channel to him because he loved loved my cooking 🥰😊

Musiq has gotten me through so many heartbreaks in my life. I remember being in high school playing "Teach Me" to the first guy I supposedly loved. 10+ years later this song hits a little different. When you know and understand what love truly is in your mind and your heart. I stayed in a situation far longer than I ever should have because I loved a man who didn't love me back. I question if he ever knew what love was to begin with. I lost out on years loving someone with no doubts, no fears, and no questions. But there should have been all of those. This song reassures me that my love was not in vain. I chose to love freely. I didn't know this song was about God originally. However, knowing that lets me know that I loved as open as God loves me. I did right by that man. He has no idea the extent of that love. Grateful to have geuinley loved that deeply. Now to get back to knowing that there is someone who loved me as much as I loved them (GOD)!

We have 8 bad- beautiful kids that we love to death and I don’t think nothing will tear our marriage apart. Our house might not be the prettiest or the biggest, and we don’t even own it but I promise it’s filled with love. You feel love from the adults all the way down to our 4 year old daughter!💯
