Awesome video as always! I'd even consider running the grenade in duels too, because you can trap > nade > trap > DPS and the nade will hit during the second trap.

This for sure. For duels I like to run musket with sword/shield and do leaping strike (stagger) > shield bash (3s stun) > nade (doesnt break stun) > trap > load powder burn > trap > shot dodge shot. Hitting the powder becomes guaranteed cuz target is either staggered or using a grit ability to avoid the bomb stagger. Either way, target cant block powder burn, and you get a nice dodge roll crit shot.

Hello! Just subbed for this, I am finally not alone in my pursuit of musket/VG as a build xD I've been running this since VG came out and musket since launch though I now know I have some redundancies in my build althoguh I use two muskets as my company use the mass musket strat in wars to blow up enemy siege xD SO one with ruinous for wars and another for everything else.

Ive been trying out everything with musket and gauntlet, but i feel horrible When my musket dosent destroy people. Currently running 100int, 50 con and rest IN dex, musk/rapier. Will try some more VG after this, love the videos bro. Keep it up 🙏🏼

I know it's a musket video, but have you tried the VG with the firestaff? Scale of int and have a mobility skill. Havent tried it myself, wonder what is better between the FS and the musket paired with VG

If i had to bet my life on it, I would say FS tbh. Both scale off int makes it very easily to gear with it and a bit more damage as well

For sure! very good for most situations, you do struggle a BIT against bow users if they are high skilled though, but against melee you have so much in your arsenal

I am not sure if the Sapphire is the best gem for Musket. You dont get the 15% Extra Damage from the 150 Int Perk.

One thing to mention.... If you have scent of blood ( musket) you can heal 100% out of the petrifying scream as well without trapin them because of the trapin status. You can see the lifesteal at 15:03 Good day :)

Doesnt really matter, just land crippling powder burn and some solid VG perks, just make sure you fill out the attributes properly when the time comes, so its close to one of the builds!

I personally use 300 dex and rest int i feel like the 50 point on hp is waist that 500 hp u get is not worth it but more int alweys more damage

I love your videos bro honestly but as someone who has been testing the vg over and over and over again unless you have points into focus the “healing” from leeching blade isn’t enough to keep you alive in the 1v1 or opr.

Dude thank you for all the love and support!!! I was doing some serious testing the last 3 to 4 days and the healing seemed pretty good, no?!?! I think its really cause I was hitting with critical strikes a bunch? OPR can be very difficult if you just go in there John Rambo style (Aka solo)

@@TheComebackKids That may be the case if you're banking on your healing for that then you dont need leeching blade as you're relying on the perk to the right of Vicious Void in the line called Leeching Agony which is essentially Leching Blade without the scaling off Focus

I dont like the blade and i think the middle skill from the right tree is stronger with double hit. You can burst enemys even faster. Gem would i prefer the one whos increase your dmg while the enemy has a debuff on it. Its absolutly nuts with voidgauntlet. Ring perks take void dmg% and a void gem in your musket (buffs both weapons over 4,5% dmg) and you can burst heavy armor healers like hell.

I wouldn't even do 50 con, I'd go 300dex, 150int, chuck an int gem into your musket and watch the damage. It's genuinely INSANE.

I've tried a lot of the different builds for void gauntlet, and I strongly believe you're absolutely trolling if you dont bring essence rupture as this doesn't require any focus and heals for an insane amount. In addition, the leeching blade on the void gauntlet is a waste of a perk as it is not only currently bugged (please test it for yourself and you'll see) and it requires you to do heavy attacks. You want to priotize the disintegrate stacks at all times and look for the cumulative crits and voidcaller as opposed to slowing down your dps and heals. Also ... WHERE IS BLESSED ??

@@Brynyc125 sure, I’m a light healer main with life staff and void gauntlet. I run 250 focus, 150 int, and 60 con. I’ll pop a 40 con food buff if I’m ever doing anything important, and for the void gauntlet, I run the blade, orb of decay, and essence rupture. I’ll swap out orb of decay for petrifying scream if I compete in duel tournaments, with all the logic perks on my armor. My current void gauntlet is the 575 named crafted Master Void Mage’s Gauntlet that has blessed and enchanted. I absolutely shred anything in the game, pvp or pve, and still qualify as a main healer. It feels incredibly strong in my opinion and I’m only outmatched by very skilled medium armor great axe hammer guys who can catch a stun on me.

@@Brynyc125 generally i run diamonds on both my weapons but i can see implementations on the opals, emeralds, and moonstones for the void gauntlet only. As for life staff spells, i run the only viable meta build- Sacred Ground/ Beacon/ Light's Embrace

Yea it is solid in pve. Void gauntlet is very good because of the strong aoe damage it brings, as well as debuffs!

Go Topaz or Ice equivalent if able. Bonus brownie points if your ring gives you +% damage for the element. Can end up with 5% extra over the fifteen. Edit: Those two for the tracers, especially lightning. With bonus of nobody running resist to it.

Bro the void gantlet build is really bad, you never right click, like in pvp never ever …. I wouldn’t recommand this particular talent in pvp. It’s just my opinion, I’d rather take 2 points on the other tree and reduce mana cost of the spells above 50% mana. Overall very good guide

I quit new world a few days ago ... Void gauntlet is nothing more than a broken left clicking weapon ... another failed mechanic empoweting the meta, which is why 90% in outpost rush has the same weapon. Sorry voor the salt :D really hoped this game would do better
