I wish more Muslims could understand and be interested this erudite presentation but we’ve been deprived of such education in our post modern world. Inshallah by Zaytuna going online more people will be able to access this wisdom and use it in our lives

Sometimes I sit and think about when shaykh hamza will pass, we will realise his great influence as a thinker. I pray to Allah to meet him one day. 20 years ago or so I saw him lecture and he changed my world. Allah persevere him but then I went astray but I am trying to return to Allah.

@@rakibalmahdi2401 I'm Falastini and from what I know of looking into the whole thing is that it seemed he was taken out of context and it got blown severely out of proportion... Which is to be expected... the bigger of a figure you are... the bigger the "drama." That being said, I don't agree with him on EVERY SINGLE THING... we are human, we are allowed to disagree without completely throwing a person under a bus.

1:17:05 Sh Hamza, line most Ulama, has a very idealistic view on technological progress which I find counterproductive. We should stop it?! Really? Can we stop it? He should rather answer the question about how we should deal with tech like AI, or simply say he doesn’t have answers.

He has misquoted the narration at 1 hour 50 mins onwards. The Sahabi saw a mosaic sent from the Heavens, not man made statues. They were heavenly and not man made statues. Secondly, he should not quote the Maliki position in context of drawings of the Prophet alayhislam. Why doesn’t he point out that the Malikis were the most strict on blasphemy law too. Shaykh Asrar was right to refute this man.
