Schools of Muslim law is divided into two sects
Sunni and Shia sect
Sunni Sect is divided into four sub schools -
Hanafi
Maliki
Shafei
Hanbali
Shia sect is divided into 3 sub schools -
Ithna Asharia Or Imamia
Ismailia
Zayadia

PLEASE CHECK what you have told in this video at 16:10 it is somewhat different what is there in the book. In the book it says Abu hanifa's main contribution was that instead of accepting each and every tradition as law he tried to find out the law in the text of Koran itself through analogical deductions. In this manner he preferred scientifically concluded private judgments based on Koran over a blind reliance on the traditions. Abu hanifa said to have relied upon 18 traditions only. Abu hanifa was of the opinion that the law must be formulated in accordance with the changing needs of the society. Pls make changes if req.
