There is no such thing as an Arabian horse with Arabian blood! In Arabia all horses have been imported, the climate does not allow living there without humans! The word Arab means pure, which is why it is used for a pure horse that was mainly found in Asia. Salamon alaykom

With due respect, I need to mention that it seems a bit nonsensical to suggest that Arab means pure. To the best of my knowledge, it means lots of good things but not pure. Please clarify and cite your sources ! Wassalam !

Agree with Alamschwong or whatever his name, and I would like to add that horses evolved over a period of like 100,000 years and more than that actually if my memory serves me right. It could very well be that Arabian horses, that their name has to do with their origin being in and around Arabia, or that it may not be. Sometimes, especially the english common names given to a species is not always like all that related to the actual conditions or nature or locale of the given species. Some species are just named after a person who discovered them for example. And l believe but not a himdred percent sure that the com on english name or nickname can vary a good deal away from the actual scientific name of the species, well, that is especially true of the common or nicknames of species anyway as much... Edit: and the climate has changed over time. 10,000 B.C. or so was the end of the little ace age period.
