Jacob, good choice in song and in artist. Your taste is super similar to mine. I've been listening to Cody Jinks for about a year now. He's awesome. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

Josh Morningstar no way! Thanks! It’s a great song. Have you played at JD Legends in Franklin, OH? I feel like I’ve seen you there? That’s were I live.

Very cool, I dig that. I’m that weirdo that leaves mine a half step down and plays with capo on first for most tunes, but this is good to know. Great explanation too

Hey big guy, I found a 1969 gibson flying dove, I haven't ever played an vintage guitar just wondering if you have ever strummed one and what you think of them!
@JacobWilliam5 жыл бұрын
steve mingle I haven’t ever played a Gibson dove, but I have heard good things about them. I love old Gibson’s. Usually anything from the 50s and 60s is good for Gibson. The 70s and 80s can be hit or miss. I’d take it to your local luthier or guitar shop and have them check it out before you buy it. Vintage guitars can be great, but you want to make sure it’s ok structurally before you spent a bunch

Hey u know Cody isn't the one who actually wrote and originally sang this song right? Josh morningstar is who actually wrote and sang this first. He gave it to Cody. Check him out. Check out Ward Davis too

Or... you could keep your guitar tuned down 1/2 a step, like me, and throw a capo on the 1st fret for standard tuning.

Leonardo Agustin true..but I play out of standard 99% of the time so that doesn’t make much sense for me.

Good Job - conversely you can keep your guitar half step down like I do and then just put capo on the first fret, whenever you need to sing or play in standard tuning
