Very nice upgrades! We did some similar ones like key fab covers, better all- weather floor mats, trunk organizer and we did cup holder and door inserts that have color outlines that match RAV color. Good job!

@Stacy Walker I agree I am now waiting for the 2024 to see what it looks like. I've seen predictions but hard to know if those will come true. Sure would be great to see better gas mileage.

@@JSBowling2011 have you considered the hybrid? When the temperature is not too cold, I can get up to 50MPG on the 2022 RAV4 hybrid. Even on the highway I have been able to get over 50 miles per gallon. Obviously light foot and I don’t speed on it, or ever drive faster than the speed limit, but even when I have 5 people with me, I still get over 45mpg highway speeds. It leads me to believe (as well as other people’s testimonies) that RAV4 hybrids really do give you a better than advertised mpg. I have over 20,000 miles on my 22 RAV4 hybrid and I can count with my hands the amount of times that I had less than 40 mpg.

@@IRLSuperb the RAV is awesome, however, i’m going to be sticking with the forerunner and hope they come out with a hybrid in 2024 but most likely in 2025, if the Trd RAV was just a little bit more offroady , I would get it

How much was the paint protection film ? I have some chips on the front and sides and I want to add this. Is it bad to do it over the chips that already happened? Who did u have do this for u or did u do it yourself )

I paid $1,400 to have it installed- full hood, full fenders, full front bumper, door edges, door cups and rear luggage cover. I went to Midnight Tint in Kent, WA. Maybe touch up the chips before applying the PPF? I think you could do it yourself but applying it may be harder than it looks and takes practice.

Great video! I actually got everything suggested except for the cargo organizer and the chrome delete vinyl wrap… Curious though, has the vinyl lasted without any fading? I was told at the shop that it would fade after a couple of years under the sun. I live in Texas.

A few mods you should look into, That i did, Sequential turn signals on the mirrors, way brighter, Baja designs fog light kit, way brighter fog lights, Brake lights that replace rear reflectors. Requires wiring tho. LAsfit turn signals front and back, ten times brighter. Hella horns to replace the horrible stock horn. I also did a separate set of wheels with snow tires for winter, cause stock tires suck. I also did hood mounted lights i use as my high beams, LPadventure has the hood brackets for like 60 bucks.

Why auto manufacturers still put chrome on cars amazes me. For one it isn't chrome, it is silver painted plastic. For all the cool colors and durable polymers out there, let's have our cars look like they were made in 2024, not 1980. Great video, my wife is picking up her RAV4 hopefully tomorrow, these are great gift ideas!

I’m wondering if I can somehow attached a rotopax on the side of the roof rack. Also I want different tires and wheels. I find that tires are easier to pick than the wheels

I read that an empty roof rack can worsen fuel efficiency. Have you tried taking off the roof rack to see if it increases your mpg?

I'm sure it affects the mpg but I don't think it would be worth taking the rack on and off.

I have the same white but not the blacked out version. I almost bought the LE and im glad I asked if there was a XLE coming in. Much more options for a little more. It came with the roof racks. Probably will never need them. But I like the look. Only accessory purchased is the rear organizer. I haven't hit 1K miles yet.

My wife and I have a RAV4 that is very similar to yours. We have considered getting the roof racks, but I heard that if you have them, there is a chance of rocks flying up and ricocheting off the crossbar and hitting the panoramic sunroof, causing it to shatter. Have you had any experiences like this, if not, what are your thoughts about it?

I haven't experienced this and never heard a rock hit the sunroof. I do a lot of freeway driving with semis. If you want them you should get them! 👍

I just called around to a few local shops that did wraps or window tinting. Usually tint shops do vehicle wraps as well. If you're in the Washington area I went to Midnight Tint in Kent!

I have a panoramic sunroof, and also have the roof rack with cross bars. I wonder if they make a wind deflector that could be mounted in front of the roof opening to cut down on wind noise???? Might actually look kinda cool?

Thanks. It was 3M. I'm not sure of the exact percent... I just asked them to match the front windows to the back windows.

Nicole, Super sleek and sexy RAV4 with all your changes. Nice job. Maybe adding an Orion Car Emergency kit for added safety. Walmart sells them for under $40. Also, a DC to AC inverter that plugs into the lighter. Ugh! Who uses a cigarette lighter anymore? The old ashtrays are gone too. My dashboard pockets (2) are non-functional as anything stored in them fly out when I punch the pedal at a light. Hybrids are great for fast acceleration. You know that too.

Nicole. Im looking at Rav4’s. So, your videos have been very helpful. Thought I would mention something. You can click the open button for the sunroof and it will open. Not really necessary to hold it down the whole time it is opening. Again, terrific videos

What’s your feedback on these seats? The ones in your car look leather with fabric insert I think.

I believe the seats are made out of all softex. The center is just stitched and textured differently.

When I purchased the vehicle the two tone colors were only available in the hybrid models. That's part of the reason I decided to go hybrid. I wish they had more options!

With the front two holes, I would find some Chrome button screws and put them in there. You could spray paint them black if you want.

Hi Nicole, Your XSE looks geat! I love your chrome delete vinyl wrap it looks great! I also have a 2021 Rav4 XSE Hybrid and want to have that done to mine so I also live in about the same area and was wondering what shop did you have do your chrome delete? Thanks for the detailed videos!

I'm not sure of the exact percentage. I just had them match the front windows to the factory tint on the back windows. 🙂

not 100% but i think all the new hybrids are automatically set to turn off after an hour to many people forgetting to turn vehicle off.

Where did you buy the black wrap to cover the chrome? How did you put them on? I was looking at the rain guards too but I wash my car frequently and would think they will rip off in the car wash. I didnt think you could wrap them. Looks good!

Where did you get the front overlay for the Toyota emblem ? Toyota tried to tell me putting on there will mess with my sensor and only had back over lays to buy

I purchased the Michelin CC2's and they have been great! I only have the stock ones to compare them to but the ride quality is so much better IMO.

I work for Toyota here in Florida and I have to know, where did you get the Chrome delete done at? I asked at my work if we do it and they said no so I absolutely love how you did yours. That’s the only chrome I have on my car and it’s driving me crazy. Thank you and your Rav 4 is beautiful

I had the chrome delete done at a local place called Midnight Tint in Kent, WA. Had to get rid of that chrome! Definitely helps complete the look 🙂

My RAV4 hybrid xle has windshield cracked half way through by a flying rock from a pick up in front of me when my wife was driving. Do you know any thing to prevent windshield from rocks.

I typically just try to avoid driving behind trucks. I recently had a small chip but thankfully was able to get it repaired right away.

@@Nicole.Sisson most 18 wheeler trucks have rubber mat behind rear wheels that blocks rocks from flying. My wife was driving next lane to behind a larger construction pick up with double rear wheels with no rubber mat. The driver must be careless to other people's properties.
