Great review!!!! I have the rally 14302 and the buggy 14210. I agree, replacing the receiver really wakes up these little vehicles. I'm waiting on my Citroen to be delivered.

@@GregSupe I have the same delay problem on my 14301. Are there any decent, not too expensive recievers that you might recommend please? Do you have to replace the controller as well as the receiver? Sorry, its my first rc!

Nice video man, awesome car!! Just check your audio volume on the music, it's a bit loud. Struggle to hear you speak towards the end. This car is difficult to find. It's always sold out.

How good is steering linkage and servo...i know with my udi infraction 16 scale style little truck i bought a few years ago its linkage is sloppy...so even after i upgraded to brushless and added gyro its still can't go in straight line..even my cheap wltoys 1/12 scale buggy after upgrade goes perfectly straight at high speed..no gyro...i also like to be able to adjust toe in and chamber...but main thing is steering has to be solid...when i am going 20 to 30 mph and i take my hand off the steering,car needs to go 100% straight...i am sure you understand since you are an experienced car guy...anyway thanks for the review...looks like a winner...also on 2s these go close to 30 mph which is more than enough for driving on a coarse..

I watched a bunch of videos on this car and everyone seemed to be able to go straight at 42 mph...so i am guessing its pretty good...even my wltoys cheap 1/12 buggy seems sloppy when i grab wheels and move back and forth,but car goes perfectly straight when i let wheel on tx go...i am hoping this car is similar..for $120 it can't be perfect,but to me for all the reviews it seems like a homerun! Thanks

So I have the 14301 drift truck. It is essentially the same car with a different body. If you have the truck version, you're pretty much buying a repeat. I wish MJX just sell optional bodies, but instead they want to sell you the whole vehicle. Good marketing making you buy again lol Watch me a sucker and buy again haha (maybe because my 14301 is dying and old)

Killer looking body man, I mean the car not yours lol. I already have the 14301 mini infraction & 14302 Alfa Romeo clone, fantastic cars for little money. It should be faster on the foams as they are 64mm diameter, the stock wheels are 58mm. Needed a fresh charge battery to compare the foams really, also depends on if you used foams that were not new & worn down partly.

Wha's the tires/wheels combo you use? I'm trying to find spare wheels but I can find. I don't like the stock rims tbh and i'd like to have something more scaling

you could try any 10th scale wheel from Amazon. The ones i used were contact foams.

@@GregSupe i see. but 1/10th are much bigger in paper from what've seen. These are 58mm and the 10th are +65mm. Could you please share the link of the foams one ? great video dude, btw

the foam tires you see me put on are the 1/10 scale, they dont look that much bigger. The wheels are all 12mm hex in size so probably google search that to see what you find.

I've heard on other mjx cars that if you change the receiver, you can't control the lights remotely any more. Did you find this to be true? Or was it fully functional?

Yea you can control them either on or off on another receiver

Probably like 20mins but this battery was a 2200mah 3s CNHL pack and I was full trigger most of the time. I believe the stock 2s pack is around the same time.
