I want to ask something, I checked the meanings of the verbs to learn them and remember quickly but when I searched for "remettre" I couldn't see the meaning "to turn in, to postpone". Can I use these verbs to say "postpone or turn in" or should I use something else?

Oh remettre means to put back, add, postpone or turn in =)

so for postpone you could say. Je dois remettre notre rendez-vous à demain.

And for turn in, you could say Vous devez remettre les exercices demain =)
