What certificate courses should we do to make our profile strong Like Digital Marketing or advance excel or business communication. Anything which you felt that you should have done that in the past. so that mba could have been simpler to deal with.

Please make a video on - Whether your stream of graduation matters in getting into a MBA College or later in placements. Like I'm doing my graduation ( Hotel Management) and thinking of doing MBA later on to get a good package. Please Reply.

Yash Arora your stream of education matters in the selection criteria of colleges. For example, if you go to any of the IIMs’ website n search for the criteria, you’ll see a table which specifies how much point score will be allotted to each stream. Hotel Mngmt will get a higher score as compared to Engineering or commerce I guess since it’s more diverse. But this changes as per each college. Some may just take a simple entrance exam cut off. To answer your second question, your interview will definitely be determined basis your stream. You for one should expect questions like- why general management when you already have a specialised hotel management degree? What better management do you think we can teach you.

I am doing full time job since last 2 years ..n i really want to do mba...but i fear to quit my job..n i tried to do with my job but somehow it was very exhausting... I scored 38 percentile...without studying...also sometimes i feel if i cant do ..bcz m scared of all these entrance exams may b bcz m bad at maths n vocab ...also i dont like my current job...m working into sales...and i really want to change my domain....n want good package in some good company...but i dont know i have this fear of this exam...please help urvashi...i feel u r the ryt person to share all this...

Manali Gupta Do Not Let your fear cripple you. We are scared of the unknown. When you start studying, your unfamiliarity will reduce and you'll feel more confident attempting these papers. Watch my video on how to deal with fear of Maths. And I am soon gonna put a video for how to prep for vocab as well. Hope that will get you stated as well.

manojch37 they consider it as any post grad degree at the outset. You cannot compare an Indian pgdm to MBA from ivy league abroad. They have very different brand values.

Hey! I cannot comment since I haven't read up much on the college. Try and reach out to some of the students already studying there n alums. Also go through there placement report if they publish any. That's how you can decide. Professors at your CAT coaching institute (if any) can also guide you.

Its the same degree. Some colleges give a two year PGPM degree, some give a pgdm degree. Its essentially the same thing.
