I find it relaxing but I see your point when fight a boss or a mini one. 🙂 but once it’s completed its back to exploring, meeting the weird little creatures, and listening to the music, which is all very cozy.

These are some great suggestion! I definitely need to check some of them out. To add on A Short Hike and Night in the Woods are 2 nonfarming cozy games that I really enjoyed and would recommend to cozy game enjoyers.

Gris is not new, but a very cozy platformer. Nexomon extinction is also super cozy imo (I like level grinding and creature collecting - which is very smooth in this game).

I've played half of these already, but I definitely want to get Lemoncake and A Highland Song! They look so cute! (Also CANNOT WAIT for the new Prof Layton game!!)

I've heard incredible things about Hollow Knight, but I've also had a really, *really* difficult time with platformers. Yes, it's absolutely a skill issue, but it makes me so frustrated and sometimes even downright angry. I think the last one that I did even remotely okay with was Super Mario: Odyssey, but there are other Super Mario titles that made childhood me want to throw my DS! And I tried other series, like Ori and the Blind Forest, but didn't have any luck there. Anyway.... I've also heard that Hollow Knight makes it worth it. I don't think there's a demo anywhere, but is it worth a shot...?

Hollow Knight is a metroidvania but the Focus is more on difficult Boss fights than Platforming. There is Platforming, yes and it can be difficult at parts but its nothing like Celeste which is every room filled with platforming. Hollow knight tells a story and it loves to give you the feeling of beeing lost. Its eerie but so cute and sad and the music is phenomenal. If hard bossfights frustrate you, dont do it. If you had a good time with Oddysee it can be worth a try, though its 2d which makes it easier IMO

@Deadlock21 I have a friend who gave me a gamepass trial, so I'm gonna be able to check it out!!! I'm excited! And yeah, that info is pretty reassuring. The platformers that I hated / struggled with / failed to get good at were all in 3D, and relied heavily on depth perception. Maybe the 2D will really help.

@@MedorraBlueim rooting for you. Its a great game. One of my favourites ever. :) dont get disencourraged, try again and again, you will become better, i promise. Im playinh with inverted controls lol
