The anjan 2 mesh inner fits, with a slight mod, iv got one for mine, the nallo mesh is like hens Teath

Hi Bob. Like always nice video. Amazing presentation about this tent. I have the Hilleberg Allak 3. Double Pole for extreme conditions, heavy, of course but is worthy. By the way i am looking for a new tent, just a bit light and i don´t know wich one yet but i would like to have The Solo BL from Hilleberg. But that one you are showing in your video is huge, one point plus for me and bagpack. Thanks for share the information. Many years ago a mate and I were camped on a Cornish clifftop when a gale blew in.A lot to tents had been damaged but our little shelter was still dry and comfy.Its given great service and was well worth the cost and you won't have to buy twice.Enjoy.

2 person tent is aways the best option in winter and if you are camping with other people and there tent gets damaged you have space for them aswell

Happy xmas and New Year Bob. That looks shiny! Is it arse or nose into the wind. Definitely something to be said for a 2 person tent in the winter. The space becomes a real boost in crap weather. Price is a killer, but that buys quality.

You too, fella. I hope you've had a good one with the family. Nose into the wind on this one but wasn't very windy. Price is on the steep side and wonder whether the abisko lite 2 would be just as good? I didn't get that due to the side door position (want to put my helinox ground chair in the porch and stare out, will show on next video.) See you on the next one bud

I think the 12kg force is a tear test using ISO 13937-4 which isn't exactly pressure but instead pulling the material until it rips. Bloody strong though

Hi Phil, welcome to the channel mate. There can be quite a bit if you don't unzip the vents. I'd suggest you keep the vents open front and back and also inner. Also I'd suggest if it ever rains when you get back give it a good drying out. Hope this helps. See you on the next one.

Vango did a 1.48KG Tunnel tent called the F10 Nitro 200 Lite it has TBS and even with the footprint and extra pegs it comes in way below 2kg…….in fact even the extended porch area version is 1.76kg….. Not sure why people rave over the overly expensive Hilleberg? They don’t even have a TBS tension band system? At least some of us are a bit wiser.

Hi Matt, Thanks for stopping by and sharing your opinion. I couldn't comment on Vango's TBS (Tension Band System) for people reading this, wondering what TBS is. I've never used a Vango tent, so I wouldn't have a clue, unfortunately. I like what I like in short. For someone who doesn't go out drinking, etc, this tent would cost me roughly 6 nights on the town (quite easily). So, it's entirely contextual, as I am sure you can appreciate, as everyone sees value in a different light. On the contrary, you have a good point in that Hilleberg tents are expensive as I owned an Allak 2 and did not rate the value of that tent. Hillebergs are extremely popular, as you know. I trust you have owned one and had a bad experience? All the best, Bob.
