Welcome to Crafting with Giulia where I share my DIY projects. In today's video, I'm going to show you how to make carnations out of coffee filters. This video is part of a DIY Challenge hosted by Tami from Happiness Created and co-hosted by Tiff from Broke Girl Aesthetic and Brenda from Monner's Market. The special guest host is Kiki from Kiki DIYs. The name of the challenge is "What Month Is It". The challenge is to create something that represents the month of January. So I chose to make carnations which is the flower for the month of January. I also created my version of La Befana which is appropriate for The Epiphany which is January 6. I made some coffee filter peonies which I colored with fabric paint. I also made leaves I dyed with rit dye. my best effort is to be crepe paper cherry blossoms, but carnations will be after.
