Thanks Sam, loved the centre pieces to the 2 white bowls. Originally I thought you had inlayed a dark piece of timber, or repaired a funnel bowl. Ouch for that thought. Great instructional video on finishing bowls, differently. Our club also provides bowls for a local children’s hospital charity. Bowls are sold throughout the year and we donate to charity.

Yes, I usually put some sort of a clearcoat on top of that usually a spray lacquer

At 10.55 the bowl looks like it has a hole in the bottom, then later it's gone. Did I miss something?

I’ll have to go back and look at the time you cited, but no, there was no hole in the bottom ??? Sam

Marcus I had to go back and look at this more closely. Earlier in that clip, I showed that little bowl with a waist block glued on. That black dot you saw later was the remnants of that connection and I did remove that completely while I was sanding. However, it does look like a hole in the bottom of the bowl. I appreciate this comment, as I need to be careful what I show in my videos. Have a great day. Be safe Sam.
