Years ago I wore Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia fragrance. It had great projection, and I would often get stopped by strangers who asked what I was wearing. To my dismay, it eventually became cloying, and I stopped wearing it. The bright green bottle is so pretty. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a linear, inexpensive and realistic Gardenia perfume.

I think tuberose is the one exception to have excess fragrances in your collection because there are so many variations of that note. So, it makes most fragrances in that same category unique, despite all having tuberose ♥️♥️♥️

I’ll never forget as a teen smelling Fracas on a woman who walked by me. I knew I had to have it. It’s the best tuberose scent in my opinion. Love it 😍

I love that you mentioned richer, creamier tuberose scents not just the bubblegum variety. Michael Kors and Fracas, though very different interpretations, started my love of the note many, many years ago. (Also, if anyone is familiar with any fragrances by Kim Kardashian and KKW, 4 out of 5 resemble Michael Kors in some way. His signature scent was a favorite of hers before she started her own lines. So, if you liked Kim Kardashian or Red Lips, try Michael Kors. If you liked Crystal Gardenia, try layering Michael Kors with L’eau D’Issey. If you like the one she made with Kris, I hear Florence by Tocca is a good alternative. Just FYI for fellow tuberose lovers or KKW fans missing their scents.) Oh, Carolina Herrera’s original EDP and Red Door are nice choices, too, if you happen to like vintage like me. Ooh, Diptyque Do Son EDP is also a favorite of mine - smells like a fresh picked luscious gardenia after a summer rain. 👌🏻

LOVEEEEE this post. Especially with the mentions of Fracas and Carnal Flower. Here in Indonesia, Carnal Flower smells just like in Tuberose farmfield in the very early morning when the farmer just picked the flower, and Fracas smells like the garden at night. I just recently bought another Tuberose perfume I love which is Franck Boclet's Cocaine. That one is another kind of tuberose which has cigarette ashy smell in the opening, kind of challenging and dirtier than both Carnal Flower and Fracas...

I personally love tuberose (and gardenia/ white florals en general). Like you, I also have quite the collection. Some that I like that you didn't mention are: "Narcotic V" (just intoxicating, can't stop smelling my wrists), Carolina Herrera OG (one of my loves from the '90s), Tubereuses Castagne (a very particular nutty tuberose) , Tubereuse Imperiale (sweet and sexy) and Velvet Vanilla (bubblegum tuberose- vanilla)

I also really like Narcotic V! It’s a great one. I talked myself out of buying or falling in love because it smelled very similar to gucci bloom to me which is my number 1 and much more affordable so I told myself ABDOLUTELY DO NOT FALL IN LOVE 😂

I just bought a (3) perfume sample from Tocca from TJMaxx for $15. They came in those cute little bottles like the one showed. I really did like the Florence one the best. I picked it up because I keep hearing about tocca. It did not disappoint ❤

We share a very similar taste in tuberose fragrances :D I love McQueen, Rouge Malachite and Truth or Dare. Vert Malachite is listed as a jasmine fragrance but I also smell tuberose in it. Marfa by Memo is very pretty too - it smells like an expensive suntan oil

I'm not a huge fan of white florals or heady florals in general, but there are always exceptions...like THOO Ruby Red...yes I'll shut up about it eventually 😅. Didn't even realize that fragrance had tuberose in it for a while. I still need to try Rouge Malachite or the dupe you suggest as I love Ylang Ylang. I love your videos! U literally answered my mind. I cane here afetr realizing my love for gardenia and tuberose realizing they are in my sun tanny perfumes. But madonnas truth or dare i finally smelled and I LOVE it. Im hunting down a bottle but they are too expensive on ebay and jomoshop says 2-4 w and im not doin that. That was a nightmare last time i ordered from there. Once they said 2-4 days and i waited over a month for a perfume while holding my whole order hostage instead of sending the others avail. I called evety week bitching. Anyway im glad u read my mind and brought up Mcqueens similarity to MTOD!! Thanks

LOVED this video!! I used to hate white florals but then a few years ago, for some reason, I started loving them and tuberose is my fave. Now I have a lot of the perfumes you talked about here. One of my favorite tuberose perfumes in my collection is 1 Million Parfum Paco Rabanne (marketed to men). It’s firmly unisex, if not feminine leaning. I’ve received tons of compliments from “manly men” who are shocked when I tell them what I’m wearing. 😎🤣

@@VeronicaSays Thank you. It was a bargain at a thrift store, but the descriptions from Fragrantica was what sold me. Linking “alpha men” in a military base is a bonus. This is the description: 1 Million Parfum by Paco Rabanne is a Leather fragrance for men. 1 Million Parfum was launched in 2020. 1 Million Parfum was created by Quentin Bisch and Christophe Raynaud. Sun-drenched leather with salty effects. A warm deliberate scent on the edge of the extreme. Salty pulse: "tuberous salty" textured by amber woods. Leather opulence: accord "solar leather" patinated with notes of resin and pine. Quentin Bisch: "The original idea of this one comes from an accident: back from vacation I had two bottles broken in my leather bag... one was my sunscreen and the other a sample of cistus. The smell was absolutely divine! I captured it with one simple formula: a contrasted smell of salty monoï-tuberose blended with resinous leather.

Hi Veronica! Truth or Dare by Madonna was my tuberose "starter pack". My summer tuberose has to be Tubéreuse Vertigineuse by Molinard.. I feel that coconut and tuberose really compliment each other.. feels like a luxurious a bit salty butter on ones skin! I admire you. It's a pleasure to watch your videos...

McQueen, Wild Python and Fracas sound very nice. When it comes to tuberose fragrances, I have at least 2 that have a prominent note of that flower that I can very clearly identify and love: L'Interdit Intense and Datura Noir. (Also have a mini of My Way, but it's not really my vibe. Although I should test it in this warmer weather.) Thanks for the video. 😄

I was waiting for this one Veronica. Tuberose is my favourite. I’ve had Tuberose Angelica for years, and some decants of some you mentioned. Have you tried French Flower by Matiere Premiere? They grow their own organic Tuberose flowers to make it. It’s very heady, but I sometimes add some Neroli Oranger to tone it down depending on the weather. Great video as always. 😃🇦🇺

I also love tuberose. Tubereuse Imperiale by BDK is my absolute fave it is a bit expensive tho. I would also recommend Wild Python, but also Boucheron's Tubereuse de Madras, L'interdit Rouge and/or the intense version, Prada La Femme intense. Kayali's Vanilla Coco 28 is pretty good too.

You just saved me from buying Armani Prive "Rouge Malachite". I already have Amouge "Love Tuberose" and Frederic Malle "Carnal Flower" so I don't need it.. but the bottle is really stunning. Everyone says how creamy and beautiful/sophisticated Rouge Malachite is so I was thinking that "I need it" 🤓 It's FOMO 😃 I also have a decant of Tom Ford "Tuberose Nue" which is indeed a creamy, sweet, powdered, tuberose 🌼

Hey Veronica! I’m loving the look. Absolutely gorgeous. I remember my introduction to tuberose which was Velvet Tuberose. I was hooked. I’ve noticed my tuberose taste is changing. I still like it but I prefer something more buttery. I would say my favorite tuberose fragrance is Julianna’s Perfume version of Rouge Malachite Bad Bit*h. It’s so beautiful. I would say Datara Nior would be the runner up. I need to smell Love Tuberose! Fracas sounds amazing too

I wasn’t a big fan of tuberose and I detected it immediately in perfumes.. weird because I’m not even familiar with the flower.. but i was okay with it in some fragrances when i was starting out. I noticed it Good Girl but I thought it was beautiful.. same with Rebl Fleur.. but then both are sweet florals.. it was Jaipur Chant from Sana Jardin that made me change me kind about tuberose, and i’ve lived that floral note since then… top faves are L’Interdit Intense, Tubereuse Mystique and Woman Intense 🥰 i love the “presence” in Woman Intense too! I know a lot of people love Gucci Bloom, but that fragrance traumatized me 😂

Out of your honorable mentions, I’ve only tried (and loved) Poison and L’Interdit. Evidently I love Tuberose, but my novice nose doesn’t readily recognize it yet. I’ve always loved fragrance and have had several signature scents over my life. I’m 73 and my journey from high school on includes Coty Emeraude, Dana Ambush, EL Youth Dew (oil), Tigress and Babe from Fabrege, Tatiana from Diane Von Furstenberg, CK Obsession, YSL Opium, Poison, Hypnotic Poison, (Avon Timeless, Frankincense and Myrrh fragrance oil from Indigo Wild in the last 5 years). My exploration really began with the Sephora sale in April 😂😂😂😂 My first perfume was a bottle of Chantilly my grandmother gave me when I was 12🫠 Have I bored you yet????💛 I forgot one!😮 I loved April Violets by Yardley of London in my late teens. 😊

I absolutely love white florals. Give me tuberose, jasmine and gardenia PLEASE AND TY!! Memo Marfa is great but SIWA is amazing. It stays close to the skin but WOW. Amouage Love Tuberose, Mancera Wild Python, and Elie Saab No 9 are among my favorites. There’s something special about a creamy, fluffy, soft tuberose that makes me swoon. I do seem to favor more tropical esque tuberoses. Nest Sunkissed Habiscus is a fave. I do tend to steer clear of tuberoses that give me grape. While I love the flankers of L’Interdit, the original is all grape. Carnal flower is all tuberose. I gravitate towards Dominique Ropion, therefore, if he created it, I need my nose on it. I originally bought this to be my wedding evening scent (future wedding that is🤣).. That’s a whole other story …but I want to be ready!! Delina Exclusif I think will be my day scent. I know jasmine must be next in your hit list. I have sooo many favorites.

Hey Veronica! I absolutely love white florals - esp tuberose and gardenia. You mentioned quite a few I've never gotten my nose on. I'd love to try McQueen, Florence and Woman Intense. I have started down the path of trying to find some oldies from my youth. I loved Madonna and remember reading her muse for Truth or Dare was Fracas. I found a small bottle for a great price and getting it soon. So fun to see this in your video! ETA: One of my favorite tuberoses right now is My Way. I love the bubble gum vibes tuberose pulls off in this one but also enjoy the green notes it can pull at times too. It's so versatile.

I adore Chinatown its in my top 10! My partner loves Love Tuberose and Saks 5th Avenue on me. Years ago I smelled Michael Kors on someone and fell in love so I ran out and bought it smelled rancid on my skin so I gave it away. Recently I tried Kim Kardashian because I heard it was similar and I adore it! One of my favorite white florals. You've convinced me In want to get Fracas, Wild Python and RL woman Intense gonna order samples this week. Fracas looks like its the tuberose mother ship.

About a year ago I started my search for tuberose and I watched your older video and here I am again! I love your love of tuberose! So far in my collection I have: Scandal by night, l’interdit intense, Utopia vanilla coco, and Dua’s dupes of Loubikiss and Carnal Flower (which I would love to have the real deal). A while back I had been looking for a perfume with marigold because it’s the flower of my birth month October and now that you mention Tuberoza has tuberose and marigold I’m sold! I also want to try fracas, rouge malachite, bouquet encore, and tubereuse de madras (I wrote that one off because of the tropical notes just like you said 😅)

I love so may of these. Tuberoza and Tubereuse de Madras…my travel size of Rouge Malachite has me flip flopping between love and like. Some days it’s sweeter others flatter. Today (had to spritz) it’s sweeter and interesting (the amber smells like the Alien amber). A few others I have, not mentioned in your bud, that I find lovely, are Tubereuse Nue by Tom Ford (cleaner, fresher), Tubereuse Castane (almost whipped cream thick and buttery) - interesting as all heck. Amouage Honour (a slow love for me but I’m in deep now) spicy, fruity and yet watery and translucent. She’s a put together powerhouse of a scent. I really want to try Narcotic Venus, Carnal Flower and Fracas - I’m ready for them. The Malle is easy to source but Fracas is hard to find. A note on Tuberoza - she’s huge and on has a hot spicy start and reminds me of Michael. Does anyone else feel spices intensely?

Mahora is my personal tuberose perfume of choice. It's a little melancholy to my senses (not sure why this is) but I adore it. Your video is excellent. I can't help but also mention.... Poppy Soma by Parfums Quartana, this is a SPICY tuberose. Very unique, & not talked about enough. Datura Noir is also an excellent take on tuberose. Very smooth and beachy. I also love Mugler's Alien Fusion, Naomi Goodsir Nuit de Bakélite, NASSAMATO's NARCOTIC V, Susan Owens Child. Take care😇

I typically like bubblegum Tuberose like in My Way Intense from Armani. I like the Tuberose in the new Gucci Bloom Intense but not in the other flanker. Btw Gucci Bloom Intense smells good layered with Alien Goddess. I know this isnt popular but I still like the old school White Diamonds and Ysatis by Givenchy that has Tuberose too.

You have so many different tuberose and gardenia fragrances🤩🤩. It took me a while to warm up to tuberose and I’m still picky about which type I like😉😉. I decluttered Truth or Dare as it was just too much for me🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. I love Tubereuse de Madras, L’interdict ( both flankers), like Do Son and Gardenia from MMicallef😍😍.
