Shelia, you get a rainy day and watch the show a lot of life lessons in there. We haven’t been there yet but it’s definitely on our short list. I’m 68 and still watch the show from time to time. Goober and Gomer were cousins after Gomer joined the marines Goober took his place. Todd, I feel your pain on the knees. Great video and having friends along made it even better!

Even if we can’t have every seat at the Ryman. We could have several hundred people there and let them do their regular show that would cut down on having to plan for entertainers. But we could have a majority in the audience. That would be pretty cool.

Station I work at has ran Andy at Noon for years and years. I have seen every episode more times than I can count. Dread when they switch to color and start counting down episodes until we start over.

Y’all should’ve went to White Plains Baptist Church that’s where the siamese twins are buried. And they have a beautiful old white church building there from the 1800s!!! The church is still doing a work for the Lord, there are some great people in that church. Also Stone Mountain is a very beautiful place to hike just outside of Mt Airy!!!

We stayed at the Mayberry Campground in 2022 for a few days and toured the town. The museum was awesome. Yes Todd, in NJ it’s illegal to pump your own gas. It’s the only state that still has it that way.

Such a cool little town and Mayberry Campground is just a nice little spot. It’s been a few years since we visited. It was some of the most economical towns to dine in that we remember. We went to the police station and got Helen put in handcuffs and taken for a ride in an old Black & White! I bet that area was amazed to see the Spacecraft roll in. Safe travels and good times🙌

This is fascinating to know about Andy Griffith. I have never tried RC cola myself. Glad to know it taste like Pepsi. I don’t like Pepsi either. The other state that doesn’t let you pump gas is Oregon. It was nice to see Andy’s house. Fun to know all this. I think Andy Griffith Show was a Desi Lu production and they a spin of called Gomer Pyle. I used to watch all them shows as a kid and adult.

Sheila...try Coke with peanuts! And by that I mean put the peanuts in the coke) Lol. Very southern. My 17 yr old sister taught me to do this when I was 9 and she drove me home after school. Satisfied my hunger and thirst all at once. And no I never choked on a peanut.

Cody we have ordered a lithium battery and a new converter. What else do we need to run off grid. We're trying to stay away from solar panels right now, just a an upgrade to boondock a night or two. We do have a inverter predator generator that we use at times. I know we need a battery monitor but not sure what to buy. Can we get your input? Thanks for your laughs and all your help.
