I booked a last minute flight from NYC (work/live here now) to Melbourne to go to the Grand Final for a 3 day trip and managed to snag a ticket to watch my lifelong team win the premiership. It was one of the best days of my life!

What a Grand Final! being in a pub full of Collingwood supporters and being a die hard west coast fan with tears in my eyes at the final siren. We all shook hands at the end because that was a special game and we all new it could have gone either way.

Straight after the game my mates and I went down to the local oval for a kick. There were two young boys down there having a kick too and they were playing out the game. One was saying he was Josh Kennedy and the other Dom Sheed. It reminded me of my brother and I when we were younger playing out Westcoast’s GF win in 2006 out on the road.

Eagles fan right here! One of my best days ever sitting in front of the couch watching that game, all I can remember is family screaming, cheering. Bloody hell that was a day to remember.

One of the greatest days in my life! Perth born and bred. Dreamt of going to a GF and watching that Sheed goal sail towards me still leaves me with goosebumps! I was watching it live on Tv and was going for the Eagles. I thought it was over when pies led 31 to 14 at the end of 1st quarter. This proves there are miracles in sports

This was like a perfect grand final. Two teams battling it out both going in hard. With 2 minutes to go one team is like p by 2 points. The other team gets it into there 50 and takes a mark. He goes back for the set shot that everybody has dreamed of taking to win the game. Kicks the goal putting his team in front right at the death which drags them over the line. It’s a nail baiting finish and west coast just win it. Mad respect to both teams.

Lewis Jetta is so un-sung here. He was the reason we slowed down to play "our game" late first quarter. He was the one who kept Ryan up and running when he wasn't confident. Without Jetta this would not be the way things happened. The same can be said though, about half our players who just willed their way to victory in 2018.

I have grown up a die hard dockers fan. My instinct is to hate the eagles even though they’re a ripper team. Watching this has given me a place in my heart for west coast, because I know they’re just some good blokes, and good footy players. Great quality vid👍, love the editing🤙

As a Collingwood fan this just makes me wince! McGovern bleeding on the inside, shouldn't have been playing. Vardy needed to not be injured and NicNat to be injured, unlikely to be playing. Sheed and Ryan meant to be off the ground, shouldn't have been playing! What are the odds?!

Dom Sheed's goal probably the best goal of all time, no amount of training can prepare you for the pressure of kicking that goal in that moment.

I was at my brother's friends house on grand final day and in the last 2 minutes our parents sent us to his room cause apparently we were the bad luck charm, every time we were in the living room Collingwood would have the ball etc. anyway we listened to the game on the radio and when the siren went we all ran out screaming
