Rennaissance de ma Mustang Fastback GTA 1967 289ci récupérée dans une casse californienne en janvier 2003 où elle avait passé quelques saisons depuis 1977.
Ce petit film amateur réalisé avec quelques amis retrace sa restauration aux USA par deux passionnés et le plaisir de conduite qu'elle me procure chaque jour.

I drove my 1st Mustang in 1977, bought my 1st one in 1980. Today I own an impeccably restored 1967 coupe and a 2019 California Special convertible. So I know Mustangs. I will tell you that this is THE BEST video ever posted on these incredible cars. My compliments to the guys who gave this incredible gift of a video to the world.

thank you for this very nice compliment. Amateur, we spent a lot of time editing this video, 10 hours of video editing and 12 hours of filming around the 24 hours of Le Mans circuit.

Fascinating! I love the Mustang, is my dream. My dad had one in the 70´s, but is a rare pearl here in Brazil. So I congratulate you for the laboured work to bring him back to the freeways once again, the roar of his motor like a music on the streets. His curves, his style..absolutely beautiful "There something inide you.... is hard to explain" as the music says.

That’s a beautiful car, I really like the color, i also have the same year fastback I’ve owned mine for 36 years it’s my first car I’ve had since high school, mine is white with black interior and a six cylinder car, I’ve swapped out the running gear for the V8 stuff ( rear end front hubs and I installed a 4 speed tranny)

From unloved basket case to simply wicked. The Silver colour (Canadian spelling) is gorgeous. Looked really solid but needed lots of lovin'...how I miss my GTA..:(

Bonjour, superbe film et montage sympa !! bravo. Je possède la même clonée Bullitt. 289 HP boite auto, refaite aussi et importée il y a 7 ans. Quel pied de la démarrer et cruiser avec!! Bravo encore

Ce n'est pas moi qui ai réalisé la restauration mais je continue à l'entretenir avec soin. Malgré la restauration ce sont toujours des autos à bichonner. J'ai déjà repris la direction assistée entièrement, je viens de refaire entièrement le moteur à cause d'un villebrequin défaillant, équilibrer l'arbre de transmission, et me reste à refaire l autobloquant du pont et peut être la boîte. ... Mais c'est toujours un plaisir

72joul Quel était la défaillance au vilo dont ton moulin à eu le soucis ?

Mike TheBike le vilo s'est usiné autour du coussinet de palier central. Du coup, réfection totale du moteur (usinage d'un vilo d'occas, realesage des cylindres, nouveau piston pompe à huile, etc...)

Congratulation to you, apparently it has been a huge work, everything is completely new. I guess it is worth it since you will enjoy it for a long time, since the work was done in Illinois and since it is a GTA model. The 289 is so reliable, you will never be able to break it ( unless you use it with no oil !). Enjoy it mate.

Si je peux me permettre Joul... Les logiciels utilisés sont Adobe After Effects CS6 pour les animations (intro et outro), et Adobe Premiere CS6 pour le montage du diaporama et du film.
