I don't know the Mach-E but on every car with this I do know then yes, brake lights come on as soon as you're off the power.

I'm waiting 3 years and see what kind of prices the Mach E/Ioniq 5 will get. i never buy brand new due to the value cliff so to say is too harsh to my wallet.

I like a smaller car and apparently the next Ford-E will be Puma based. If they can scale down everything this has I am incredibly in.

100% agreed A mustang is not an SUV.

Tesla is starting to show its cracks, and not its fit and finishes we're so used to. With two of its heavy hitting major players leaving the company means something is going on. When two great people leave a company at the same time you better be paying attention. And where is that cybertruck? Ford is about to drop the mic on the EV game with the Mustang Mach e, f150 lighting, and with the Maverick, Bronco and Explorer offering an EV in the next year or two.

Ok... This is getting old. The name is not going to change so please wish all you want. This car is bringing in new customers to the name plate so you can run around in your Petrol one a little bit longer. 60% of the Mustang Mach e being sold are new customers to Ford.

@@twany442 chill out, it’s only my opinion. It’s not what the Mustang is synonymous for. It’s great the development that’s gone into the car and I don’t deny it’s a good car. It’s just not a Mustang.

@@twany442 the mustang is known for it’s throbbing V8, for being sleek. This is a jacked up SUV type electric car with some styling hues from the Mustang such as the tail lights. Say the name Mustang and people think of the noise, the engine. That’s all I’m saying it’s completely changed the whole dynamic of the car. IMO Ford are just becoming lazy with naming cars. Like the new Puma vs old Puma, they are nothing alike. Yes people change and evolve, over time. You don’t go bed as a 20 year old and wake up 45 though. This is what the Mustang has done. Same name, totally different market.

@@michaelb9664 If you can't get passed the mustang now being electric then I don't know what to tell you then. This isn't going anywhere anytime soon. As a matter of fact, more on on the way. I'm so proud of ford for keeping the mustang name alive. This vehicle will insure that the name won't dye and the Nostalgia will live on.

@@twany442 I think you have misunderstood what I said, so pls re-read my comments. For your information am a designer too but not of cars. I was pointing out a few things Ford could have done differently as they designed this Mustang from ground up.I was not been critical of VBH.

I actually own this car and a tesla Don’t be fooled by the epa numbers. In the real world the tesla gets less range than claimed. The MME does better range than indicated

My model y says I can do 320+ miles but in the real world I doubt I can can do 270 The Ford says it has 270 miles of range but I think it could easily do more than 300 I live with both of these cars so I know. Tesla is built to score very well on the epa test. Real world results are different

There MANY things that affect range: weather (rain, wind), type of road, temperature - ever driven your Ford in winter, probably not because it's too new, speed, driving style... We are going to pick up our Mod Y next week but I've been driving a Mod 3 for a couple of years now and my overall average for the past 25k iles is 0.23 Kwh per mile. This translates into 326 miles range on a 75 Kwh battery. The EPA range was 315 miles. Of course, I am in Florida so we never had to drive on really cold weather but did have our share of bad weather such as strong winds and torrential rain. I don't expect the Model Y to be less efficient than the Model 3 because... well... it's newer. I comes with the heat pump and I'm sure they've improved other things between then and now. I still believe that the EPA's figures should be more trustworthy than anyone's individual experience while, indeed, the EPA figures will not agree with any individual driving situation.

And we're not about to mention all the problems Tesla has or its ultra low score customer satisfaction. Or maybe the long wait for a flatbed truck to pick up your car for repairs. Maybe the parts they won't let you buy or the idiots that own them and falls asleep at the wheel. And how many fiery death crashes? Or it just maybe the delivery date getting pushed back into eternity. No... Then horrific panel gaps I keep hearing about or the Mitch Match Plastics. Is it the searing Sun that comes in through the sunroof with no tint? Or its it the so-called long range that isn't really as long as advertised? Then it must be the two very important senior staff members who just left the company at the same time. And has anyone seen the cybertruck? 🤨🙄🤔
